I wish Chrysler hadn't made such a HUGE intake box to block that Hellcat motor. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they made the hood intake function. I think they should've gone a little less restrictive and more direct like the SS, WS6 setups where it pretty much sat on top of the TB..

Nice simple install. By any chance are you going to do a blower spacer by interchillers? Seems like a great upgrade considering the weak blower gasket that comes on all hellcats.

I put just the 5R filters in themselves and it boosted the supercharger whine alone

Nice! I just wanted to get rid of the intake tube resonator and keep the factory air box so this was my only option. Thanks for the view!

7:03 ehh it does more than that. yes it "quiets it down" but it gives a place for the air to go if/when the throttle body is "closed" and intake valves are closed. Where does the air go? without it it bouces off and goes backwards... colliding with the air coming and causing a worse turbence than those accordenon secions ever would..

What are your final thoughts on your friends trx with the jmb performance? Just installed mine yesterday and I love it. Just somewhat curious why you didn't do the same... Thank you. Great videos!

I love the sound of the JMB but wanted to retain the factory design of the airbox and hood intake just incase I find myself in too much water or sand lol Thanks for the view!

So since it’s been awhile, should I go with the afe super stock intake, the actual afe intake system or s&b for my 22 trx? Afe is on Black Friday special for less than s&b right now…

I do like the intake tube with the carbon and the fact it removes the sound deadener. The filters are also nice but yes it is kind of pricy. Thanks for the view!
