Ever wonder what the different drive modes actually do? Or how the 4x4 system works on the TRX? Allow me to share what I know, but please do your own research and don't just take my word for it. www.catchmeoffroad.com

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 has an awesome crackle on shift points when it’s in “Off-road +”. Maybe not super car level, but really an awesome sound! 👍🏻

Hey, great video. You taught me some things about my Trx like holding the button to take away more of the nannies. I did not know that! 🤔

Criticism about not having 2 Wheel drive baffles me. Just doing burnouts to ruin tires is stupid in my opinion. I have owned three hellcats and the last two were traded for my Trx. Rest assured that those cars are frustrating because you simply cannot apply power to the back wheels to take advantage of the power. And that is my experience with both stick shift and automatic. I love having full-time all wheel drive in my Trx. I still find myself going easy when I takeoff and then suddenly realize that all four wheels are gripping! 😃

So do you drive an auto mode or sport mode my raptor I always put it in to sport mode because where I live is more hilly and I fight it and regular mode lagged all the time shifted too much. I just purchased my 22 TRX I just put the airbox on it I just had the AWE exhaust put on it Friday Monday. We’re gonna put the springs on it like you did front and rear putting 37 on it the wheels I wanted her KMC‘s and they only came with the 18 offset I told him as long as it’s not too much we’re going to try it I wanna run 18 inch wheels and putting Toyo on it thing you could suggest I wanted to ask you about the taser is it good or bad? I know you say don’t run it into wheel drive, but what about the rest of the lights and things is it good .? I’ve had four raptors. I love this truck but I’m just learning about it I live in Northern California. I bought the truck out of Texas because it didn’t have any miles on it it’s orange thank you so much for everything. I watch a lot of your videos and really help me, but what I am doing to it and upgrades, thank you so much…Tim

I just now noticed on my Trx that I’ve been driving it with the paddle shifters on in auto mode/sport mode but I never use them to shift is that bad??? I also never put my shifter in manual mode just regular Drive. I’ve now turned paddle shifting off just wondering if that could of damaged the truck.

Hey man, I love your TRX videos!! I just bought a new 2023 TRX on 5/30/23 and already have over 6500 miles on her. I I would love to try her out at Holly Oaks ORV park. The park is less than an hour away from where I live. Will you be back out there anytime soon? I'd love to join a group that can show me the ropes out there.

Hey Brian, thanks for the support and congrats on the new truck! I'll be at Holly Oaks this weekend, Sept 9-10 for Detroit 4fest - you should definitely try to make it out if you can! It will be an awesome way to get your feet wet at the park and make some new friends 👍🏼 You can find more info at their website

@@CatchMeOffroad that's awesome! I'll be there! I'm getting an ORV sticker tomorrow is there anything else I should bring?
@CatchMeOffroad9 ай бұрын
@@brianenochs yes you'll also need an orange flag on the front of your vehicle, same as Silver Lake requires. You can get one at Holly Oaks though, at the red 386 Fab booth! Tickets for 4fest are discounted online I believe, so get them before you arrive 👍🏼

Cool video. Thank for the rundown. Ouch, 8.4mpg. I keep hearing they like the fuel but I was hoping for around 10. I just ordered one, trading in the Raptor. Assuming you drive agressive?
@CatchMeOffroad2 жыл бұрын
Congrats on the order, you will love the truck! Yes I drive a little aggressively, but normal driving I see about 10-11mpg on the 37s.

What is your 0 to 60 set up?
@johnandaliciamcdonald60512 жыл бұрын
Can you change modes at any speed? Also can you go into 4 wheel drive high and low while moving
@CatchMeOffroad2 жыл бұрын
Yes on the mode change, you can switch modes at any speed except for Rock/crawl which uses 4low and requires you to be stopped and in neutral. Same goes for 4WD settings - 4H and 4A can be switched while moving but 4L needs to be stopped in neutral.

I’ve heard some people say that they are getting better 0-60 times on the road in Baja vs sport..have you tried testing it out?
@CatchMeOffroad Жыл бұрын
I have heard that as well but not tried it
@parneetsingh545110 ай бұрын
does baja mode disable the airbags for jumping?
@CatchMeOffroad10 ай бұрын
I don't think any modes disable airbags, for safety reasons. Airbags won't deploy unless the truck is driven improperly, like lawn-darting the nose into the ground violently.

Can u drive on highway in Baja mode n can I cause damage if u do?
@CatchMeOffroad Жыл бұрын
Yes you can drive in Baja mode with no issues, but why would you do that? If you like the suspension or engine feel, just set your custom mode to match that and use it instead...
