RAMADAAN MUBARAK.
As we welcome the blessed month of Ramadan, we would like to take this opportunity introduce REFAI ACADEMY AND WELFARE TRUST (RAWT) and REFAI PUBLIC SCHOOL, BORU (RPS) to our dear subscribers and viewers.
RAWT, Vadodara, is a registered Trust which came into existence, acknowledging the necessity of assistance and guidance in the fields of education, medicine and the social sector for the socially backward communities.
The Trust functions from its office at Khanqah-e-Refaia, Refai Marg, Dandia Bazaar, Vadodara and has registered itself with all the statutory authorities, to enable it to receive contributions from both Indian and Foreign donors.
In furtherance of its objective of providing quality education to the underprivileged children, RAWT, in 2012, founded the REFAI PUBLIC SCHOOL, BORU, on approximately 5 acres of land, owned by the Trust at Village Boru, Taluka Kalol, District Panchmahals, Gujarat, India.
RPS endeavors to provide education to its students in keeping with the Gujarat State Education Board (GSEB) English medium curriculum and has its Pre-primary division functional since June 2012, the Primary division since 2014 and the Secondary section since 2021 at Boru. In the 12 years that the school has been operational, it has grown from the strength of 86 students to 442 today. The school has moved from a 1400 square-feet rented premises to a spacious 20,272 square-feet (G+2 Structure) self-owned premises. The school is now equipped with a total of 24 classrooms, a library, space for science labs, a computer lab, a kitchen and a dining area, a staff room and an administrative office.
The Trust provides from its own funds, the entire needs of the children, providing all the books, stationery, uniforms, mid-day meals and infrastructure necessary. The school is staffed with qualified and dedicated teachers, who commute daily, by school bus, from Vadodara. The school is currently incurring a yearly expenditure of INR 36,000/- per student..
This INR 36,000/- is inclusive of the tuition, books and stationery, uniform, field trips, mid-day meals, cost of extracurricular activities and registration for district, state and national competitions.

Needless to say, the commitment of our donors to education is truly inspiring, and the entire team of RAWT is incredibly grateful for your investment in the future of these students.
