I am very happy to have taken this day trip to Amman and back to experience the service Emirates provides during Ramadan.
This flight was perfect as it would include breaking the fast at night.
A huge thanks to the crew that operated both sectors, as they were absolutely stunning to me.

The same happened to me when I first moved here. Now to be honest I’m mostly on autopilot so I don’t notice it anymore. I automatically shut my music and act respectful but it’s funny how I can just sleep through it for years.

Thanks buddy! There is so many important events around the world and it’s interesting to see what airlines do to celebrate them. Emirates is one of those that hops on the diversity bandwagon and does their best to wow everyone. I’ve managed to celebrate Ramadan, Holli, Christmas and more on their planes, super unique!

What an amazing trip report. Every part was very informative and accurate. Each section was clear. Video is awesome and quality is superb. I will agree with you that It’s quite challenging to film on an A380 because of its windows. Otherwise, A380 Is such a lovely aircraft and is still one of my most favorite aircraft, and Emirates as well. Can’t wait to fly again with them soooooon! ☺️

Thank you very much Gerard for the awesome comment! Glad you agree on the windows, it’s the only bad thing on this plane. I’m flying it on the upper deck at the end of this month and it’s slightly better there, just some curvature. We’ll see! You’ll fly them soon again, most EK A380’s will be back in the air by this summer!

What a great trip report ..I felt like I was with you in the flight …and you remind me of my lovely flights always to Amman and backwards to Dubai ..Dubai -Amman -Dubai flights always nice, calm and enjoyable….to have better weather while landing in Amman and to see nicer landscape colors I would suggest to fly in early March …I am sure your would love it …thank you for sharing this amazing report ..cheers

Thanks again for watching Paul! I love Emirates precisely because they adapt to everything and everyone. It’s fascinating to see the incredible change they are taking (for the better good) vs other airlines: They went from focussing on being the very best and luxurious 15 years ago to modernizing and doing their absolute best to fit everyone’s needs: It’s a modern, hip and quality airline celebrating cultures, people and religions. I was shocked to see that Christmas is celebrated more on Emirates then anywhere in Europe, or Diwali, or Chinese New Year, Valentines day, the list goes on. But if I just post of Emirates I wouldn’t really have a channel, would I?😅 text you next video!

I was very impressed with this TRIP REPORT 🤣 I fly EMIRATES often, probably more than any other airline it is one of my favorites I have done approximately 40 flights generally in business class your trip before was very thorough and very detailed and I enjoyed it very very much especially during Ramadan 🤲🏽🕌I hope others will see this video I will look for more on your channel thank you so much 🙏🏽

A clean window is something very rare, especially in the winter when de-icing is a must (in Europe). Of course, this is rather rare on the Middle East routes. Excellent video.

I had an experience with a380 Dubai - Amman. it was the at end of 2021 we spent one week in amman, we set on the seat IN front of you that you need to book it self, but the passive of the seat is that you can see nothing out side the aircraft, but the good thing is you have enough space for your legs to stretch. The return flight was after midnight with Boing 777. You can say that both A380 and Boing 777 in fly Emirates are both flying to Amman but in different time.

Yes, the seat just in front has all the legroom but only the view of the galley and flight attendants! Emirates flies both aircraft to Amman indeed. I still have to say I like the A380 better as a passenger though..!

Wow! I have been waiting for this for a long time and it was worth the wait! Currently, I just clicked your video and saw the intro and the transition from the Ramadan theme and then the Emirates' logo, that was amazing! I will edit this comment with more reactions once I am finished watching the entire video! Update: It is currently 5AM and the morning meal to prepare for fasting has ended and I will be going to bed and I will surely continue this later! So far it's amazing. (22:46) I have paused it Update #2: The flight back to Dubai was it the same aircraft and crew? The announcements sounded very familiar. Update #3: I just finished this amazing video on the Ramadan Special on Emirates! If I could give 1,000+ likes I would. What a great video and service from the Emirates' crew. They never disappoint. This was worth the wait to watch and thank you for an amazing trip report on Emirates! Ramadan Mubarak (Kareem) to all of those who are fasting!

Abdur, nice seeing you around again! The video ended up being much longer then I thought, and that even when I cut the second flight to around 5 minutes. Yes the flight back was the same crew! They get to go and return as it’s a short day. It was nice spending the day with them and getting to know them. One lady told me her husband is completely nuts for planes so it was nice talking. I was following your comment in steps since yesterday and waiting to reply, hope you had a lovely day. Ramadan is a very nice time of the year, I love to experience it either here in Dubai or wherever travels take me. Emirates indeed never disappoints. They continue to be my favorite as it’s just plain fun for me, but if I only flew them I would not have more video’s😅. Have a lovely week ahead, Ramadan Mubarak!

Longer?! Poor me, the editing took me forever! I eventually just kind of gave up and deleted the second flight as it was 1.5 hours long in total😂. I wanted to make otherwise 2 parts but then the first part would be missing the take off and Iftar.. Anyway, hope you get to fly with Emirates on any of the special occasions, I’ve been lucky to be able to fly on various holidays and it was a lot of fun. Always my pleasure, I need to thank you for watching!

And, I've flown with Emirates back in January 13, 2022 from JFK to Dubai and then to Dhaka for a trip with my family. And returned February 21st. The crew were amazing and overall the best airlines.

Great Video As Always Buddy!. I Lough so hard when you edit the "error" noise when the focus didn't work :D. I can't wait till Emirates will start to fly to Tel Aviv in June, I Wonder if they fly the A380 for a showoff(there has never been an A380 At Tel Aviv Airport) for the first time if so I will drive to the airport to Film it!. Thanks Itai! That was so incredibly frustrating! And the views were so nice on this day.. 😱 I’m sure they’ll fly the A380 on the first flight, they were going to do that on the last inaugural too. If I’m free of work I’ll definitely try to be on it. Emirates is really going all in on Tel Aviv, starting by the “Kosher Arabia” facility they build not too far from my home, it’s the Kosher Catering facility for the Emirates Flight Catering. So curious to see it all on the flight! Regards buddy!

Yep!! I totally agree with you, from a spotter's point of view the A380 window is a nightmare with such a thick layer... I rather fly the 777 for this specific reason.

And I totally agree with you Gergo, each time on the A380 I face challenges. At the end of the month I should be flying on the upper deck of the A380 and while I enjoy that, the views are even worse as it’s curved and high, so the wing looks tiny. First world problems😅. The best to film is the B787 I think, with the gigantic windows 👏🏼

38:00 we have such a meal in Iran which we call "Ghormeh Sabzi" you will love it as it is seen as our national food. As you seem to be active in economics/bankings, it is such a pity you will not have a flight to Iran due to the sanctions and the current situation there. Hopefully things will improve.

I do my very best to only fly in empty planes. It’s easier to film and more fun. You’ll find that most of the flights at this channel are empty 😊

Surprised to see Emirates using A380s for short flights, while for some really long flights they use B777s. Anyway, I love Emirates and used to be a frequent flyer, prior to COVID that is!

It all depends on the demand! Flights to Amman usually are packed full. Many Jordanians in Dubai + tons of tourists. Emirates also flies the A380 a couple of times a day to Jeddah and Cairo. Always full😵

2 questions, under the wings what are the things that look like pods? And in one of your comments you said that on longer haul flights I believe it was that they use more thrust for take off vs less thrust on short hall flights, hope I'm explaining it right, is it simply because of the weight of the plane at take off? Hey Mike, regarding the pots I just explained it in my new flydubai video, but resuming: It’s aerodynamic protective covers for the flap mechanism. There are many parts to operate the flaps and they have to be protected. Regarding the thrust, it’s kind of the same story with almost all planes. The lighter the less thrust they need. On an A380 the difference between full and empty can perfectly be 250.000kg, so that’s a lot! So when the plane is light you’ll only need 72-80% of thrust instead of the 90-100% when it’s heavy. It depends on soooo many factors but I’ll leave that explanation for some other day!

Of course they came, almost all of them came to say thanks and spoiled me! Most of the stuff I got to show is thanks to them, they made sure to save me an Iftar box if there was left, and to share lots of info on what is available, They were awesome!

1: It doesn’t say it’s free, just that I’ll save myself the airport parking. I usually park my car anywhere in Garhoud in public or private parking. Costs 5 times less vs the airport. 2: It makes sense to me! I wanted experience and share with everyone the full Ramadan experience. Amman is close and allows me to return the same day.

Yes they do Nadeesha! They actually fly the A380 on multiple short haul routed, such as Amman, Cairo, Jeddah, Mumbai and likely I miss some. Pre pandemic there used to be many more short haul destinations!

I love Emirates always is great food and service! Unfortunately I have to say that some especially female flight attendant are not treated well especially by the Supervisor! I saw this Pakistan Supervisor what maybe he will never had good job in Pakistan? He was giving hard time to this lovely blond flight attendant? He was walking behind her telling her something? This girl was visibly upset 😢. Then I noticed she gone to bathroom crying! When she come out her eyes was watery! No good !

At Emirates Airline, one tiny mistake on your job, you are out the door and stoned to death on your way out for good. That is obviously according to Sharia Law. That is why she possibly fucked up after he threaten can her ass and report her to the management. Great service, but extreme torture on the crew. The supervisor was being a total hostile personality, using fear, death threats and intimidation towards these hotties on the flight. Brutal ruthless efficiency. DOES NOT take shit from ANYONE whatsoever. I am not scared of them, I do the same to everyone of them in return. Btw, when did you saw this happening????

Hey Niklaus. I’ll have to disagree, a vast number of travelers are Muslim. I would not know what percentage, but just looking at their route map, majority Muslim countries include the whole Middle East, Northern Africa, Maldives, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria and I could go on.. Much bigger then the European network. And when I pay and expect Emirates service, I don’t really want to fly FlyDubai on a B737.. While I like FlyDubai too. Not a single airlines has 100% load factors on flights, all have empty flights at some point. I flew on a week day in the middle of Ramadan, it’s perfectly normal to find less passengers. And the return was almost full, so with a B737 you would leave hundreds stranded. If you check out other video’s of my channel, I flew many completely empty planes, I know how and when to travel easily, it’s not luck😎

@@TheLayoverAviation So here i have to disagree. The biggest countries in the world arn't muslim. Russia. Canada. USA. Australia. India. China. The countries with the highest densities are not muslim. China. India. Ok i know both countries have a very small muslim section but the big majority isn't. In Asia totally we have roughly half of the worlds population and the big majority is not muslim. I don't list them here it would take to long.

I’m talking about Emirates passengers, not what the biggest countries in the world are. I fly them once or twice a month and I can assure you that it’s one big cultural melting pot on board. Yes they serve the worlds biggest countries, but I can assure you that the vast majority of people flying to, let’s say USA, are from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Middle East, Nigeria and Iran!

@@TheLayoverAviation ok. If you fly that often i sure believe you. I flew with Emirates 5 times only and 3 times FRA/DXB/MEL and it was always perfect. I mean really perfect. My thing was to guess if the majority of their pax are muslim or not but it really doesn't bother me at all to be honest with you. Most important thing to mention for me is that they do a brilliant job and they invest a ridiculous amount of cash into their business to keep it on top level. As an aviation freak i can clearly see that. They try to get better every year.
