Ramaphosa visits Limpopo bus crash victims, bereaved families

6 ай бұрынANC President Cyril Ramaphosa is today expected to visit the victims and bereaved families affected by the bus crash in Limpopo last Saturday. Five ANC supporters died and several others were injured when the bus they were travelling in hit another vehicle and rolled down an embankment in Magoeba's Kloof outside Tzaneen. The bus was transporting party supporters to the ANC's 112th anniversary celebrations in Mbombela and Mpumalanga. Ramaphosa will start his visit at the Mankweng Hospital outside Polokwane where some of the injured party supporters have been admitted. He will then proceed to the Botlokwa Hospital to visit other patients. He will later meet the bereaved family members to convey his condolences.

People never learn. The Makgobaskloof road is not for busses and huge trucks. This is not the first time an accident of this magnitude happened. My village is not far from the accident site so I know what I am talking about. In 1986, a bus from my high school was in accident at the same spot and killed a lot of scholars. Going to Mbombela from Mankweng, the driver should have used a Burgersfort road or Polokwane-Modjajiskloof road. Bus drivers should no these basis facts about our national roads.

The problem is that you undermine the intelligence of our people. People died because they were going to celebrate the birthday of the party that liberated them from the system that dehumanised them and created massive problems we are confronted with today.

President Ramaphosa is a credible leader. Calm and humble. It is sarcastic to talk like we are Ramaphosa . Let us not influenced by media and gate keepers to hate the President. He is a great man.
