Here is a sound test for the RAMAWORKS U80-A and my thoughts on it! I really do like this board! The sound signature is really my preference and the build was simple enough to breeze through it without the need for seeking out additional instructions.
Visually the board is absolutely beautiful and it sounds just as good. The few issues I do have with the sound is still the space bar, it does sound rather bland on the bottom row but it's not necessarily a bad thing at all. I feel like if I were to do this style of review on any other RAMA board, I'd complain about how hollow/stiff it is, but the new MUTE system they implemented is a huge step up and helps with vibrations and sound.
The board is out of my usual safe space of 65% board but I am loving it.

Your fingers on your left hand curl heavily compared to the right hand. Careful not to get any joint issues because of it.

How stiff is the typing feel? Especially relative to something like the koyu?

I know this comment is a year old, but it's stiff as in there is not really any flex, but bottoming out isnt harsh as there is cushion given from the O-ring esc mute mount.

I think its around 100 for the kailh hot swap sockets

I'm on rama's website, and their on seq 2. Is it true that when you order their boards, it'll take over a year (someone even said 14 months) before they received the product in their hands? So if you pre-ordered last year -- I believe april of 2019, you just received yours now?

lots of context here man, for the most part yes most probably a year. Setting aside the pandemic, most group buys are limited for a reason, a 200-400 qty group buy usually takes from 5-9 months. Its just how manufacturing goes especially with cnc’ed aluminum. Others can be faster assuming they have direct contact to the manufacturing company (aka china based keyboard makers being hands on during the manufacturing process). Now take this into account and then note the fact that RAMA went with the unlimited group buy route which means most probably they had a lot of orders.

Question: Does it get dirty to fingerprints, smudges etc? Is it easy to wipe off? I’ve never owned a white keyboard, plus U80 costs a bomb so I’m deciding before the extras come up.
