If one were to use the same materials, That car would cost a lot of money today. The styling is really akin to a work of art in sheet metal. Thanks for the video coverage Jeff.

It is hard to comment on such a beautiful car. There can't be too many cars around that can match it. I love the color of the paint, and I always love the convertibles. You pick a great car, and I love it.

Jeff thanks for another memory from the past. A friend of our family owned a 54 Capri hardtop of the same year and color with a dark blue top. It was quite an automobile even to an 8 year old. LOL.

I love cars from the 50s someone really cared about the car for to look this good if power steering wasn't around in the 50s it was added i would have done the same thing

This is the style car that is shown in the opening shot of Broderick Crawford's T.V. series "Highway Patrol" (ZIV" Productions) 1954-55 Lincoln convertible. There are very few differences and it's such a fast sequence it's hard to see the trunk badging which is the most difference between 54-55. I tend to think 54 because in the other shot of the patrol car pulling onto the roadway it's a 1954 Oldsmobile. Either way.....GREAT cars in this series!

A bigger difference is the tail lights on the 55 are curved, the 54 are straight up, but from the camera angle the curve would not be seen. I know I'm a stickler....bottom line is still, I love old cars!
