This is the craziest, loveliest, funniest and most impressive rendition of this aria. Mireille is a true operatic genius, each of her impersonations of a character is unique, clever, touching, and unforgettable. She does not have a perfect voice, but she is a perfect actress and artist.

Great singing and conducting... and Mireille Delunsch is a wonderful comedienne. I love at 2:39 when she's looking at the music that's she's ripped from her dress and she realizes it's upside down and flips it over, singing the same note an octave lower as if she'd read it wrong - brilliant and clever staging!

Une mise en scène pleine de fantaisie,sans excès aucun et des interprètes au jeu parfait.Rameau,s'il était encore de ce monde aurait à n'en pas douter cette scénographie qui renoue véritablement avec l'indispensable ingrédient de tout Opéra véritable de la période baroque: la féerie. C'est une vraie fête pour l'ouïe et pour les yeux et pour l'intelligence de l'Art.

Mientras Lady Gaga aun no aparecía en la mira del mundo y se peleaba en programas de bromas de MTV ya Mirelle nos deleitaba con vestuarios estrambóticos amo ese vestido de corte hecho con partituras

At the time there was a dispute between the supporters of the traditional French style (Lully) and those of the new Italian style (Pergolesi). Rameau fighting from the traditionalist camp, comes out with this French comic opera, much in the Italian style, and here he's making fun of the long and exaggerated vocalizations of the Italian style.

^ Interesting perspective! I suppose her chattering-like singing (his writing) is like laughter and kind of an exaggeration of the vocal acrobatics so commonly found in the Italian vocal style. In addition to other things.. 😂

La chanteuse est maquillée comme un clown du cirque Pinder.... Avoir soin de couper l'image pour écouter ce chef d'oeuvre. Beau costume pour Platée, serait de prendre n'importe quelle merveille de la haute couture...

Fantastique Opéra de rameau et remarquable interprétation J aime beaucoup cette grande chanteuse qui peut chanter lulu de brrg comme plstee de rameau ou autres mrveilles

Pensez que le maquillage des chanteurs et comédiens n'est pas fait en premier lieu pour la vidéo et les gros plans, mais pour les gens dans la salle... il est donc normal que les expressions soient exagérées.

Spectacle complet. Ne pas oublier que Platée est une comédie. La musique classique sait aussi être comique et déjantée. Pour moi c'est tout bon!
