@@adrien5436 Server is plenty interesting with a lot of RP possibilities and options, but it's up to the people playing on the server to capitalize on those opportunities. Grinding is just easier, convinient more efficient even instead of trying to RP around it. That being said there is plenty of RP and interesting arcs on the server, you just have to look for it.

@@Amaljacob999 there's a difference between the cops/judges and crims on the server. If you play cop/judge you are expected to take it with a level of seriousness because the power you have. You can have as much fun as you want you just cant do obviously stupid shit. And if you are mad they are getting punished too seriously you want to know who to blame? The people who started hell week. The crims complained so much and bitched so much ooc that cops got away with everything. By the end of 3.0 the entire server lost all faith in pd so all of the interaction was bad. So at the start of 4.0 they wanted a fresh start where people wouldn't hate PD so if cops messed up they were going to strike them so crims couldnt say cops dont get punished anymore. Now they get punished and people still bitch.

I think people wanted to see punishment within the PD b/c there was none in 3.0 to speak of, cops that were legit bad OOC & IC you could not get rid of. But now the PD will punish you for anything to the extreame, so we went from one extreme to the other. Both sides have valid and fair points when you look at what is being talked about if you drop all the malding away. That's just how I see it anyway.

(Joking) man CG took out half the PD without firing a shot. Johnson got fired for fighting Mr.K, Dan got taken out for hitting Johnson in a pit and Ramee convinced him to sue, and then Tuggs (Brian Knight) got Cornwood dabbed and fired. Half the PD taken out.

Slacks and the other captains ooc think this is great rp, they think they shouldnt consider certain things when making decisions, because they are "committed" to their characters, but this is affecting the health of the server and the quality of roleplay for EVERYONE on nopixel. This actually ruins rp for so many players, the way they run the PD means there are less cops, less chases, less response to petty crime like roof running (they almost never show up to that now, chopping too).. and with more new heists and new crime already unlocked, soon they won't be able to respond to the laundry heists either. This all leads to disappointing/non roleplay, crime is suppose to be exciting and risky. Right now the riskiest part about crimes like roof running is failing the boring ass hack. Players are actively grinding for money and doing crimes that have little to no consequences. All this and I stil think this dap was actually deserved, this was pretty good cop drama roleplay, I even enjoy the hardass to the book annoying Karen Ruth does, but guess what? It's actually bad for the server right now and is affecting everyones roleplay negatively.

Viewership dropped to like 40% of normal, 60% of viewers left, 3 new owners were added. 4.0 was supposed to be the REVIVAL not a continuation, its on thin ice and its already cracking

People want PD fired for shooting crims or aggressive spikes doing their job but think desecration of a corpse is all good. Den got suspended over a pit but lenny hawk had to pick up trash for an hour for a bad pit and people are pissed he didnt get suspended. Wtf are they supposed to do?

I'm watching Cornwood's(Esfand's) videos from the record, so I'm not up to date, but I had a feeling that this gonna happen sooner or later, this PD RP is being too realistic - want to be friends of the citizens, but it's not going to work, firstly and secondly, even though the drama from it makes good RP, but if you're not a mindless robot and want to play your RP, in the long run, it gonna hurt you and destroy your RP 🤷... NP is completely lost. Just look what they did with the odd change from months to minutes. Everyone was used to jail sentences being months and years and now they changed it to minutes and days. Such a weird change that wasn't needed while theres so much more important stuff that actually needs fixing. Same goes for the weird no running rule in the court house and the even weirder adoption law. Adoption on the server was always just goofy fun RP. It was never made weird and now they made it weird with an adoption law. And while typing this I realized that theres and even weirder law with that new religion law. I have no idea where their focus is. Server is scuffed, lots of trailer promises aren't met, every new system is broken, new shiney benches make you crash, new shiney walk-in interiors are broken and limited. Koil promises lots of new places you can walk into , while it feels very limited. NP was shook by Prodigy and ONX that they did a rush job and it shows. 0 PD organisation, crim systems are broken and boring AF with everything being a run, not even any simple crim mechanics like store robberies, banks or boosts.

the point is there are two maybe three other police officers that were “indefinitely suspended” and ended up fired. its becoming a common occurrence with the pd.

@@AH6_ I understand both sides, but at the end of the day trying to use OOC reasoning to justify your IC behavior defeats the entire purpose of roleplay so he'll have to take the full punishment on the chin as if it was an every day civilian and not a one lifer

He was getting killed either way. Only thing Cornwood did was fire extra bullets, which doesn't really affect anything tbh. If you're gonna rp anything besides a completely by the book robot cop this is the way to do it without ruffling any feathers, but that isn't really being allowed, hence nobody playing cop.

@@TheLivingShadow_ do you know what allowing OOC affect IC decisions is.... Meta gaming. You can do what cornwood did but you are going have to roll with the punches when you get punished for coloring outside of the lines. And there are more ways for cops to RP than do SBS stuff like mag dumping a corpse two times.
