This is the coverage of my ride from Rameswaram to Dhanuskodi which is part of my South Coastal Ride.
This second episode of my South Coastal Ride will cover the scenic and the best coastal route from Rameswaram to Dhanushkodi.
Dhanushkodi is a coastal village located around 20 Kilometers from Rameswaram. Dhanushkodi has been announced as a abounded village by the government as the entire village of Dhanuskodi has been demolished by a powerful cyclone in the year 1964. Now there are only 300 families still living in Dhanushkodi as they doesn’t want to leave their home.
The route from Rameswaram to Danushkodi is one of the best scenic coastal route in India and a must visited place for any tourist.
Most of the time, on your way from Rameswaram to Dhanushkodi you will experience water covering both the sides of your road and both the sides will also connect at one point named arisalmunai where Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean meets.
Overall I would recommend this scenic route of Rameswaram to Dhanuskodi to all the bike riders and the tourists as one of the must visit places in India.
