I'm obsessed with foraging videos! Are there any ramp look alikes to avoid? The clip of the fiddleheads at the end made me hungry too!!

i love them too! the toxic look-alike section in this video appears in text along the bottom of the video from 2:15 - 2:28 talking about lily of the valley and how to distinguish them :) cheers!

*Ohh I love foraging* 😍 I don't know if the ramp grows here in Germany, but I'll have a look. It seems to be very delicious and similar to bear's garlic, which is one of my favorites 😋

Great video!!! i had hunters from NC that used to bring me pint mason jars of PICKLED RAMPS each fall. They were GREAT! And i love fried fiddleheads would eat those in Maine in spring.

It's that time of year again here in Vermont! Making a batch tonight! One thing I would add is that some ramps don't seem to have the red coloration at the bottom of the stem. Where I forage it seems like an even split of those that are red stemmed, and white.
