Was a challenging day throughout as we had only slept about 2 hours getting the std gearbox in the car last minute, since we broke the straightcut box the day before at lunchtime doing our final test drive and expecting everything to be ready.
No LSD, standard BE gearbox - what a difficult car to drive!
Never imagined it would be so different.. Couldn't apply power anywhere without one wheel peel and immediate understeer..
Also running Toyo R888RT rather than full rally spec tires that didn't help either. Took us two more runs to get the pressures almost right.
It's all part of Rally life but at least we were there, and got some points on the board.
