We need to dispell this myth about fighting with one eye. He fought with 2 eyes. One had a detached retina and no doubt some visual impairment. Not fully blind. After fighting, Bisping chose to have the eye removed and replaced with a prosthetic. For some reason, Bisping decided to run with the lie even though he had explained the above at the time it was happening. Now everyone believes he fought with 1 eye - no.

@@e.e121He had a pin hole view in that eye literally no peripheral vision in it at all, its legally blind and in terms of fighting a completely useless eye, so maybe not one eye in the literal sense but definitely in a fighting sense

Bisping may not have been genetically gifted with speed or power, but he was defo genetically gifted with stamina. When he was active in ufc he had the 3rd lowest heart rate of the roster of all weight divisions. Heart rate is a reflection of fitness. Keep in mind he’s an 185er too, it’s usually the smaller weight divisions where fitness levels are higher. But again cos he’s not built like Romero or costa I feel like he never gets that full recognition.
@theronin365
@theronin365 3 ай бұрын
He's just got fantastic work ethic and heart which in turn made him get to the level he did as he's clearly not gifted naturally with athleticism like a Jones, Romero etc The man lost an eye and was so determined to compete he won a world title by just working his opponents down often by using his cardio as a weapon.

@@harrymacer1660 because vO2 max is measurable. If youre to deviate from the norm, its not all genetic. @CptAngelKGaming
@CptAngelKGaming 3 ай бұрын
@@justinava1675 lol you're clueless. Most of these fighters do very similar training and there is still wild variation in stamina or muscle size. It's genetic if they all train similarly. Mcgregor was busting his ass trying to get more stamina but he still gassed out. The price he paid for his explosive quick muscle fibers. Just like Nate Diaz looks skinny fat but can go for days. It's really obvious I'm not sure why you're confused.

What are these comments? People going on like MJW said he knocked Bisping out. He literally talked about how he could barely do anything because his cardio wasn't good. It was hardly a boasting session like half the fools in the comments are making out.

Michael Jai White, chill. Bisping worked you, period. You guys notice the emphasis on his conditioning? Like that's why Bisping worked him. He'd rather say that than say Bisping straight up whooped him. He'd rather say that than say Bisping showed him that there's a difference when going against the elites. This right here is my problem with Michael Jai White. THESE GUYS WILL BEAT YOU....EASILY!. Stop talking like you can take these guys. That's a different level. Smh.

At Bisping's level, you don't invite an actor into your camp, for the biggest fight of your career, to audition for a movie. The chance of injury is way too great to spar with someone who knows nothing about fighting. And what movie did MJW end up putting Bisping in?

MJW is a good. He’s a hell of a martial artist but he’s not a fighter. He’s never had a fight, he’s never been in a TMA tournament. Hell. I don’t even see any record of point fighting tourneys. He’s like the slightly more skilled Steven Segal. High on his own supply and making excuses as to why bisping dog walked him out of the ring in two rounds.

I’m kinda tired of Michael Jai White acting like he’s at the level of a professional fighter when he’s not. Sure he can beat up 99% of non trained people but I’d pick anyone who fought professionally in the UFC over him in a real fight. I might go as far as saying 155ers like Dustin Poirier at his walk around weight should be able to beat up on him. He’s not a fighter. He’s a big athletic guy who trains. There are big fat HWs in the UFC like Tai Tuivasa who don’t have his technique who would knock him the fuck out with a single punch
