The current reigning and defending Rampage Wrestling Rising Star Champion, Sonny Guapo, has stirred up some controversy since Rampage: A New Hope this past May. Although Sonny Guapo won the Rampage Wrestling Rising Star Championship fair and square, the Rampagers in attendance at Rampage: A New Hope in Abilene, Texas last May were disgusted at how Sonny Guapo callously stabbed his former Mexican Pitbulls partner Lucha Dad in the back. It was not an amicable separation where the two teammates go their separate ways. Sonny Guapo basically took a golden pistol and put down the Mexican Pitbulls from behind. As Sonny Guapo walks down the dark road, he vows to do whatever it takes to keep his gold. Sonny Guapo stabbed his former friend Lucha Dad in the back, and will do more if needed to in order to keep his take.
