Last week Islamabad mai aik cultural festival hua. Ap yaqeen nahi karainge jb Kashmir Pavilion mai 'Mere watan teri jannat' gaya gya to kafi log ro paray. Kash koi tareka nikal aata Maqbuza Kashmir or Sirinagar ko azad ya khud mukhtar krwa patay. Salutes to you from Pakistan.

there's a LOT of kashmiris in pakistan, especially in punjab. a major population of lahore (or eastern punjab in general) is ethnically kashmiri, and there's a blend of old and new traditions that have evolved over past few centuries (or more?), not just post 1947. a lot of prominent pakistanis are kashmiris e.g. Allama Iqbal, the sharifs, and many more.
