Rancho the Dog is a 4 year old male Belgian Tervuren Shepherd. There are 4 varieties of the Belgian Shepherd Dog - the Malinois (short coated), the Groenendael (black long-coated), the Lakenois (wire-haired) and the Tervuren (basically a long-coated Malinois, as far as color is concerned)

Interesting to hear your thoughts about both the harness and the leash, thanks for all that info. We have a waist attaching leash too which I really like. Always lovely to see Rancho out and about in the sunshine too!

Thank you for detailed coverage of the harness. You actually touched on my biggest issue with most harnesses and that is width of front strap for dogs with narrow chest. I have a 32lbs, medium size and very slim dog. As we know ( we all should know) the position and coverage of straps in harness is detrimental to dog’s health. Improper coverage can lead to shoulder join issues, especially if your dog keeps pulling. I currently have old line harness that was purchased about 5 years ago. Hands down the best, lighted, padded harness I have ever seen. Besides getting little more dirty, it still looks perfect. Mine is size 4. Fortunately my dog is right on a break of sizing between 4& 5. I wish there was exact neck opening listed of each size of harness and not just the range. They are not cheap so I need to make sure that size 5 would not be too big. Size 4 fits her body but is tad tight placing her head through, so I always wondered if it is slightly too high on sternum. Do you by any chance have the neck openings of 4&5 available?

Thanks very much for sharing this topic about harnesses for dogs, it’s very important for a dog to have a harness because it’s for their safety thanks very much for telling us that different dogs use a different type of harness too. As I said it’s very important for a dog to have a harness because it’s for safety. Rancho means a lot to you doesn’t he, and other dogs mean a lot to their owners don’t they. This topic is very good my friends it features a lot of safety tips on choosing a harness for dogs and when you take them for a walk. You are superb teachers my friends keep up the good work 🤝

I have two dogs and we love the Nonstop Line harness very much. I also regret getting the one without the handle, but with two dogs I needed the colours to know which harness belong to what dog. The carabiner on the line is great! I have one dog that twist the line up and already broke out of 2 leashes. We love the double locking carabiners. We do use an other brand, we needed more bungee for stronger pullers.

Just got the first harness for my buddy. Yet it's a bit big, he's just 11 months. I can adjust it though. I'll test it out. It's a quite padded one and look comfy. Yet i live in Caribbean and I'm perhaps a bit worried it's warm. It has big shoulder pad covering quit large area. This one you showed looks amazing and it's just bands

Thanks for the video. I want to order the line harness but am torn between size 7 and size 8. My Belgian Shepherd (Groenendael) is 70lbs and 27". I wonder what Rancho weighs?

Just curious, has your friends end really those blueish-puorle hints on its fur. Perhaps it's the camera. In the intro i was intrigued by it

We also sometimes notice it, hehe. I don't think it's the camera though :D It's just that the black fur sometimes appears that way, especially in the sun.
