Picked this record up on a whim 12 years ago. I was 14. Rancid is one of three bands that changed my musical taste, the others being AFI and Alkaline Trio. AFI thanked Rancid to in liner notes of Sing The Sorrow, that's why I got this record

My best mate at high school could play Dragonforces electric guitar on bass. Lots of slap and hammer on pulloffs but he could at full speed. His model bassesist were from Rancid, Rush and Primus

Rancid is different. While I'm not a huge fan of their more Ska sounding stuff, I absolutely love their bass lead straight punk like this. It truly is two rhythm guitarists singing and a lead bassist.
