I wear a prosthetic leg. They made me remove my prosthetic & then said I need to be patted down cause I couldn’t walk thru the detector. I asked for my leg back & was refused. I asked how can I walk thru if you take my leg & was told if I keep being combative I would be refused my flight. So because I’m disabled I was molested . It’s ridiculous how they get to do such things to people. I no longer fly.

How about screening TSA itself?

That’s funny because I’ve never set off a scanner in a tsa checkpoint yet they pat me down every time. Im no longer allowing them to do so.

TSA needs to be abolished. No terrorist has ever been caught by the TSA.

Those who would sacrifice their rights for security deserve neither.

I personally think it's so cute that the TSA think they're doing an actual job.

Within the first 5 seconds you could tell they are trying to make him look bad. Journalism lost its "unbiased" credibility years ago...

Do away with the TSA and find a constitutional, non invasive way to accomplish the same goal. Geez it's ridiculous how freedoms have been traded for the illusion of security all in the name of big business. What's more ridiculous is how many people are too busy to protect their rights.

TSA will NOT touch my breasts, or crotch, or those parts of my family! I've never been treated disrespectfully at prison pat downs, during visitations. Why would I let TSA do it to fly?

One of TSA’s search scans tests for the presence of glycerine, specifically nitroglycerin, a prescription medication used for the treatment of heart attack, angina, etc., and likely carried by anyone diagnosed with these conditions, which are common in adults, especially older adults. TSA does not instruct its agents to these facts, but does target anyone who has had contact with medical (non-explosive) nitroglycerin for an invasive strip-search and/or pat-down. The best way to carry prescription medical nitroglycerin, is in the unopened, sealed bottle as packaged by the manufacturer. It is hopeless to try to explain any of these facts to the airport TSA agents.

Those machines go off randomly. You could go through naked and it would still alert on you. I learned the hard way to NEVER wear a dress when I fly. The randomly picked pat downs is nothing but legal molestation.

This is the problem with elected officials...... they think the rules do not apply to them.

I can understand how pat downs are necessary to catch terrorists but the TSA agents have to have some kind of common sense. Patting down a 5 yr old in a wheel chair or a 90 yr old with a cane...really? The senator is in the public eye all the time, I really doubt the TSA agent didn't know who he was. Pretty sure he was chosen for a "random" pat down on purpose. I was chosen for a "random" pat down on active duty traveling while uniform. COMMON SENSE!!!!

Grow up Rand. Contrary to what politicians think, they do not deserve special treatment.

Only the libertarian-leaning will speak out to protect Americans from government abuse such as TSA groping. Ending this gross unnecessary infringement on civil liberties should be a bipartisan issue. We should be more focused on humane treatment of citizens by law enforcement TSA etc.
