From your other comment, it's a real shame you can't apply the same sympathy for other human beings. I actually get it though. I'm guessing you live what we call a normal life and your perception of humans comes mostly from looking at a screen. I was the same once. Ten years ago, if you'd given me a button that erased humans from the planet I'd have pushed it twice. Since I've been lucky enough to become homeless. It's a very different story when you're out there interacting with, and relying on, strangers frequently. But TV told you that the homeless are all tin-foil hat wearing, crack smoking lunatics who want a free ride. Must be right then, hey? 🤦🤦🤦 You need some life experience so badly it's scary.

So sorry to hear what you've been through and the effect it's had on your mental health. Don't give up on humanity. There are more good people out there than you realise. Because mainstream media would rather spread negativity, or tell you a celebrity farted, than report on something worth showing. I'm homeless in a country I'm not from. I won't turn to crime, I'd starve first. So if it wasn't for some absolutely fantastic people.. a whole bunch actually as I've been in this situation for a while... I seriously might not be here. It's not that I'd be likely to starve, we discard a crazy amount of food so if I was hungry enough I could get by dumpster diving. But I'm 18 years into my fight with depression. If I hadn't experienced the kindness of people who I'm a stranger and a foreigner to, I really may have given up and jumped in front of a train. I'm grateful for my situation. I used to think humanity was a selfish, ignorant, disgusting species that didn't deserve the air we breathe. I've been proved wrong frequently. You'll find your way. You'll find the right people who raise you up and make you want to talk more, because you'll enjoy talking with them. Until then stay strong. Depression is a hard thing to cope with. But you know how after you've been sick, just feeling normal again can be amazing? Same applies. I'm not suggesting depression will go away, doesn't really work like that. But when things improve, even a little, you'll notice and appreciate it so much. Much love, I hope easier times are in your near future. 💪💚👍

Well said. It is baffling that, considering there are natural disasters, viruses and diseases, brutal weather and more that the world throws at us, most of what we suffer through is caused by each other. There's always gonna be stuff that we HAVE to suffer through. We should probably stop adding to the pile with stuff that we really don't.
