All of these get me, especially anything involving children, the elderly or the homeless. I spent 30 yrs on & off the streets. I got clean 10 yrs ago before my youngest daughter was born. I've been a single dad for about 7 yrs now and ended up in a tent with her a few months back. We were out trying to get money by me looking for work and this couple stopped and gave me $150 & offered me work. I didn't really expect them to follow through. Two days later I called them to check and they paid for 2 nights at the motel. The day the room was up they showed up, brought us to their home and gave us a two bedroom trailer to stay in rent free, with no electric bill, and a job. We've now been here for over 4-5 months & have everything we need, and money in the bank thanks to these people stopping and taking the chance on some guy on the streets. I haven't encountered too much niceness in my 30 yrs on & off the streets, but it's out there. I had many people offer me work and never come back but these people did and I can't thank them enough.

My buddy has relatives in ukraine who fled to poland and when they arrived in warsaw they were greeted by polish soldiers. My buddies grandma was fleeing with the rest of their family and she went to a group of soldiers to thank them for sheltering them. She started crying and apologized for "causing trouple". Then one of the guys in uniform also started crying and THANKED HER for coming to poland to save her life.

that little girl reminds me of my great Dad,orphaned at early age he works hard to support his sister and a brother,selling cigarettes,working as shoeshine boy in the street.He also able to send his 3 kids to college by working as a salesman and when he lost his job he went to selling ballpens,eggs some sort of items.Thank You Dad,i miss you.

The guy who saved that little boy from drowning is a hero, this is why adults especially parents need to be more aware of where their children are and to keep an eye on them. When my kids are outside playing I keep my phone in my pocket and keep a watchful eye on my kids and always ready to move when needed. Hell I keep an eye on all the kids when they are playing, we don't have a neighborhood watch we're I love, the parents my neighbors know that I am always aware. Especially since there is a sex offender not even two blocks away, so yeah I keep an eye out, sometimes my fellow father's aka neighbors join me keeping an eye out.
