Random times we went dumpster diving last week all combined into one video! We go out dumpster diving a lot but don't always find enough to make a full video.. so now when that happens we'll start combining multiple days into one video! Hey guys! I can answer the question of the day.. Is it pee or is it something good . The bouquet of flowers you picked up had a purple filler flower called caspia. It's pretty well known in the florist community as *Catspeea* because it stinks like cats pee..😂 lol It's really beautiful, but stinky. I always use a purple flower spray over it to cover the smell and boost the color. 😉 Hugs from Oregon 💚💛💚

Years ago, I found lots of plastic Easter baskets in a dumpster. I filled my bathtub with water and some bleach. Then soaked the baskets. If you want to clean glass or china vases, use denture cleaner tablets overnight. Tina, Al's wife

my daughter used to help take care of a lot of children who were wards of the state. she asked around to get legos for the kiddos and before she knew it, she had 1/2 a tub full of legos. she just added some blech to the already full tub and those kids went crazy.

I lost my hubby to last August 2023. I would tell him about Kelly and Alex on what they would find. I use to do this 23 years ago and there wasn't much trash compactors. He would drive and our two granddaughters were my trash bin help. Oh Lord, I miss him so much so many happy memories....❤😢🙏😇💪💯🫶💕

@@michellecarl1255aww, that’s special memories. 🙏🏼 what was it like back then without compactors? We’re there way too many great things or food that were in abundance? It’s a shame they’d rather let the compactors add to the already inundated landfills, instead of marking down items.

Use white vinegar to get rid of cat urine smells in your laundry with your detergent. I use 1 cup for a large load. It also works well for mildew smells and other funny smells in clothes.

This is so fun to watch! I’d also love to watch videos of you sorting and cleaning up all the things you take. I find it very satisfying to take a big pile of crap and get it ready to be used again.

I haven't read the comments, but you can literally toss that cactus on the ground and it would grow. So if you do more to care for it than that you'll be extra golden! Amazing find!

I got a cactus from my neighbor and replanted it and it’s growing beautifully! I put it in a big pot. Don’t have to worry about watering it that much. I live in Gainesville Texas and I have it on the south side of my house! Enjoy the cactus.

Repot it and forget it for at least a month, bare roots that might have been damaged when being uprooted are very sensitive to water. Make a nice chunky soil mixture, with pumice, perlite, coco husk chips, and of course cacti and succulent potting mix. Cactus roots are pretty shallow so the cactus might have a hard time standing up on its own at first. Just put large stones/rocks on top of the soil near the base of the cacti until it is supported enough.

I got two very nice looking lamp shades from my next door neighbor's trash can. They looked better on my two lamps than the ones I had. I kept hers and donated mine. I have picked stuff from her discards before and flipped them on Marketplace. I don't plan on having more garage sales, but I still curbside hunt. I directly donate the good items, and I will keep anything that may sell on Marketplace. I, like you both, am more about saving things from the landfill.

You two need to check into buying storage buildings that are on online auctions. They are so interesting to see what is in them. Some people really find valuable things and great resale value. Even find cash

One way to get cat or dog smell out of stuff, get some plain Borax in the laundry section. We have 10 cats and use it to keep smells out. If one wash doesn't do it, soak the item. I've socked blankets overnight in soap a d borax. Smell washes right out.
