Nick Blackburn took a shutout into the 9th inning before Brandon Inge's two-run homer got the Tigers on the board. But a six-run 4th for the Twins, featuring a two-run homerun by Justin Morneau and a based-loaded throwing error on a chopper by Denard Span clearing the bases, was more than enough run support for Blackburn to complete the game.
