Graduating Class of 2024; I stumbled across this video and its just so weird to see our school back in time. It looked so clean and fresh and new, the students were laughing and vibes were all around amazing. I wish I could go back in time and meet those kids, I wonder how there doing. This was really cool to see, will def be back again sometime!

I made it. I watched this video pretty close but I didn't make the cut. I graduated in 90 so I was there 88, 89 & 90. Looking back there were a lot of cool people and teachers then.

I think many of us are simply shocked that this was over 3 decades ago and that our kids have already graduated from high school.

At 8:04 I'm like, man what is this, the 20s? I can't believe people in the 80s still used typewriters even when pc's were commercial by then.

Oh its a typing class. I think type writers are good way to teach typing cuz it forces students to focus on typing words correctly and more efficiently because there is no backspacing if they mess up.
@swashbucklemchrue23235 жыл бұрын
Prob plenty of computer programs that can do that.

It's funny, I remember the typing class (9th grade Penn Wood East) and thinking 'WASTE OF MY TIME!!" 30 years in IT/Cybersecurity......have to say those old IBM Selectrics were worth it! Bear in mind, computer keyboards were not yet the same across all platforms back then....meaning punctuation wasn't always in the same place....now US101 is pretty standard. My Commodore 64 (which I used back then) had the " * ! @ keys in a different place than the Apple II did.
