Thank you for that good information about working for the railroad. I couple guys I know in my congregation work for the railroad. I have a little in sight to what it’s like for them. Good video 👍

The way we have handled it is looking at 14 day periods, meaning that you need 48 consecutive hours of rest every 14 days. You can work 12 days in a row, then you have to be off 2 days. I’m management now, so we work lazy bankers hours. But I used to rack up hours as an engineer. Good video sir.

I’ve never had Granger, but Carter hall calls me by name every time I take a sip of coffee…. Make sure you get to the point quick today 😂 my buddy’s dad works for the railroad here in Chattanooga. Never seen someone love and hate a job so much before. Have a great weekend!

If you like Carter Hall you would absolutely love Granger it’s a step or two ahead in flavor and has excellent room note as it has anise casing.

i did 56 straight hours in ND for Haliburton once, ONCE! not saying i didn't sleep but i was on site and working every chance they could make me. i didn't see home for 3 months for a bit with 4 hrs. in bed each night until they needed me to drive a cdl load then i was worth getting 8hrs of rest for. worked like that in the oilfield for over 10 years. for 10 years i felt like i wasn't worth the effort of funeral if i died... i wont ever go back to killing myself for a job again buddy.
@SouthAlabamaPiper3122 күн бұрын
Yeah it’s definitely not worth killing yourself over for sure.

What all kind of critters, did you run over?
@SouthAlabamaPiper3124 күн бұрын
I ran over everything from possums to raccoons and deer. I even hit some cows one time lol. This might be an interesting topic to cover in the future.

@@SouthAlabamaPiper31 I had a man work for me once who was a engineer he told me of some of the things he hit. My mom who lived about 900 feet from the tracks told of a neighbor whose goats were killed by the train. Looks like the goats would run away but they were all killed. I smoked with you as you told your story. Thanks
