I ain't gonna lie I set screens with my guard build and I don't be thinking about the guy maybe wanting to iso or wanting to be apart of the play I just be trying to help out but I understand it now. Appreciate it

The honesty .. I love it... I do it too sometimes only because in random rec ppl don't like to switch and it could open me up for slip or a pop ... I don't like standing useless in random rec, I set off ball screens the most tho, especially on bigs so my center can cut.. most centers don't have pick dodger so even though I don't have brick wall, they can't slide past me so my center be cutting to the lane open.. I jus be trying to be effective anywhere I'm at on the floor

As a center I don’t even set screens for randoms even if I play with my guy who play guard and he get pushed to the 2 yall don’t have brick wall so why set a screen it ain’t gone do nothing

It's not your fault. 2k should have a match making system that matches you up with players of similar skill. If I'm purple, I should be matched up with golds/purples. If your silver, you should be matched up brown/silver/gold.

If I only have time for five or less rec games a week it gets lowered when I have to wait ten minutes for a game. Not to mention three of those games I'll get a low rank who is the actual cause of all this mess and throws the game lol.

I don't back out when i see a "casual ", ill play with a 60ovr, i don't care. I enjoy giving tips and pointers. I dont care about my rep or record. Thats what my pro am team is for. If they want to sell the game or goof off, i can goof off too. Some people treat this game like its their real life reputation on the line, it really dont matter (the only time it does is when you have a pro-am team that depends on you, then you have to take it serious )

For myself as a guard when I set screens it’s too confuse my defender and possibly get open. No I don’t have brick wall but people all play the same so they don’t expect screens from a guard and it shakes things up. But if I see you an iso guard imma set off ball screens. I just prefer constant movement from majority of the offense cause it’s easier to confuse undisciplined defense like that

When you see guards set screens for ball handlers. They’re basically bots not confident to shoot and lack IQ on spacing the floor. Unnecessary cuts to the basket, don’t understand their defensive responsibilities on getting back after a shot attempt. I enjoy picking on bots in random rec
