I really love Shark's deck. Usually you'd think that Fish, Aqua, and Sea Serpent-type monsters would be more reserved for side characters, so I like that they made the Zexal Rival more unique as a duelist instead of just handing him some Dragons.

nice to see he has lines for all the "recent" shark support cards he got back when MR5 was announced, although who knows when we will actually get them. also the fact he has no lines for any of the 101-107 numbers and barian/seventh one rank-up cards stuff pretty much confirms we will get Nasch later down the line

Confirmed, Nash will be another character on Duel Links. :v Edit: I accept my mistake, since the arrival of Zexal form I should have edited this but didn't remember this. :v Either way, they'll need to bring back the VAs for Nash and Merag since they lack the Barian Battlemorph transformation dialogues.

For those who are worried since he misses lines with Rio or IV: I checked the game files. There are, indeed, waaay more encounter lines than the ones in the video. Konami just muted them, so they can replace it when the said character arrives. We can't have leaked characters by voices anymore :(

I think Shark has a line for nearly every card he uses in the show (except Gazer Shark I think) even cards he only used once. Seems like the developers put a lot of effort into Shark and both VA's clearly love the role (enough for both to come back, English in particular is great to see again since half of the roster didn't even have their original voices back). They did best girl justice.

The characters in Zexal seem to embody theirselves from the start of Zexal to the beginning of Zexal II, hence why Shark has lines for Abyss Splash, but not Supra Splash. Plus, we're clearly getting Nasch at some point.

When the best neutral character from Yu-Gi-Oh has his whole deck full or sharks. (Badass)

So I am farming for his event items and I came across a standard duelist using a deck of weak normal monsters with a weird finish. Like some rainbows with sparkles. What makes this especially jarring is that my DM stage is 39 and the screen showed a normal deck for the level. I sent an inquiry to Konami and I don't know when I'll hear back. None of the sites for this game acknowledge the standard duelists so I don't know what happened. It happened 3 times so far and it has been David each time. Randomly related. I don't have anything to say that someone else hasn't already expressed. I was glad to hear his dub VA and I like how many cards he has dialogue for, acknowledging their manga cards and legacy support makes canon a headache until you accept it is just fan service, the family friendly kind.
