That's what i wanna say to every annoying teachers who just interfering our lives : we got job to do.

Jobs can happen morning. I remember towards the end of my junior year in college, I had to work nine hour shifts over the weekdays in fast food. 6 am-3 pm shifts. Opening was a pain in the ass as you had to do the whole setup in under an hour when it was just you and some other coworker alone.

My mother says that outright to all of my siblings teachers who pressure them into volunteering. Both folks work 12+ hours per shifts and even had to send me, the older sibling, into parent teacher meetings when they couldn’t come. My mother always says “ the only way I’m willing to come to these during my busy schedule is if it is in any attendance guidelines or if I’m able to shell out money for a private school education”. I get that educators want parents more involved in kids education and I respect that, but don’t go making parents feel like crap when they can’t volunteer or donate money at all. Hardly any parent can survive on a single income these days.

Also I've been to a school where the school makes the parents compete against each other of who's the best parent... Like the f%*k. I'm the oldest as well, so I would constantly have to go and talk to the teachers and staff about my younger siblings.
