Randy Edelman has written/produced/composed scores for films including Ghostbusters 2, Kindergarten Cop, Twins, The Mask, Daylight, Last Of The Mohicans, xXx, and Beethoven as well as for TV shows such as MacGyver. Edelman's music from The Adventures Of Brisco County Jr. was used during NBC's Olympic Games as well as the 1997 World Series. He is the husband of singer Jackie DeShannon since 1976. He achieved chart success when four of his singles charted on the British charts, while in the US, he only hit Billboard's Hot 100 once in 1975 when peaked at #92 with "Everybody Wants To Find A Bluebird". That same year, he did release one more single, which charted on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart at #109 with the gorgeous ballad, "Isn't It A Shame". It is a shame that it should have been a better chart fate, or even crack the Hot 100.
