Classic modern day country song, performed with that distinctive twang in his voice. My favorite Randy Travis song. Thanks Brandon and Harri.

This song feels like a comfy sweater, easy 😊. Randy has been really struggling with health issues...many Country Stars are big Randy Travis fans. Best wishes community 😊.

Randy's talent is a national treasure! His vocal performance "sold" this song. Yet another hit song written by Paul Overstreet. Many of Randy's hits were written by Paul. "Diggin up Bones", "Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart", "1982", "Deeper than the Holler", "Three Wooden Crosses", and "On the Other Hand" are a few hits by Travis and written by Overstreet.

He has a rich voice that is perfect for country music. He's also done some acting in his life too but has had some recent health issues, he's lucky to be alive. Randy, who has limited speech after surviving a massive stroke in 2013 that left him with aphasia, said the fact that so many country stars are coming together to honor his career means "a lot" to him. The tribute concert is set to take place at Von Braun Center’s Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama, on this Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 7 pm.

From Travis's 2nd album, "Always Forever" from 1987, this was his 3rd Number 1 single which was heavily lauded in the country music as well as mainstream. Randy's beautiful classic country voice, along with the incredible steel guitar and Dobro, made this an instant classic and legend. Just beautiful. Wishing Randy well and continued progress in his fight. ❤ Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Brandon. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

I have mentioned before that I’m not a big country fan, but there are a few exceptions and I like some Randy Travis. Thanks Brandon and thank you Harri.

First time listening and the words alone are swoon worthy Then add in Randy's rich twangy vocals Oh God Help Me 😉 Great choice Brandon and love your reaction Harri 🎶✌️🎵

Great song by Randy. It had ear worm qualities from the first time I heard it. I’ve been listening to the Home Free cover of it more recently because Tim Foust sings the lead. But it’s the song itself that is really the star.

This song became a favorite of a young girl who was going through chemotherapy because of the line “if it all fell out I’d love you anyway”. 😢❤

You are right. This song has been played at many weddings. In fact the video of this song takes place at a wedding.

Gotta love those lyrics. Randy's songs are full of unique descriptions and tales. " There's a dirty piece of cardboard that reads Montgomery-Ward Taped across the window Of My old Ford A 6 pack on the front seat and a box of chicken wings I'm dialing 'cross the radio For song that I can sing.

I am not a country fan, but I do love his song "Deeper Than The Holler". I actually bought the album it was on just for the song. Now I hear it on my overhead music at work all the time.

From that same 1987 release, check out "There'll Always Be a Honkytonk Somewhere." So tongue-in-cheek, but he's in on the joke.

Plus, big props to "Forever and Ever, Amen" songwriters Paul Overstreet and Don Schlitz. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forever_and_Ever,_Amen

The cartoon show King of the hill featured Randy Travis along with other country music artists in an episode. Another glimpse of Travis would be the movie Black dog, Although not the greatest ever actor they allowed for him to have song writing be a part of his role even though it didn't matter in the plot of the film. Over the years his musical talent has also been used to sell coffee.

You really need to listen to other Randy Travis songs, especially Three Wooden Crosses and Point of Light. He has a LOT of big hits. Great voice and person.

Randy brought back the real country and then these youngsters decided that country sucks, lets take in a new direction. And i guess the country world is stuck with bubblegum pop
