All the issues I have seen is why I don't have one, I really really want to like the rane 4 , it's got the features.... but this keeps me from clicking the buy now button... I really hope new performer is truly a performer, and maybe even a serviceable fader bay... I may just end up biting the bullet and getting a Rev7, but that means a couple places where I'd have a bit less of what I am looking for in my kit/workflow....like trying out stems... and I think I like the effects section on the Rane more... I could definitely get down with a Rev7 though, and the features it has.... for now I keep on rocking the MC7000 and watching what is coming and how people get on with the newer kit ... so glad my MC7000 has been a total workhorse for me ... Unfortunately quality control is affecting everything these days not just DJ gear however I’ve heard so many issues w/the Rane Four. Rane = InMusic brand and I just don’t trust it. Never been a fan of Rane. I don’t care about Rane’s all metal design. Plastic Pioneer just works 🤷🏻‍♂️

Mine is doing the same thing! Channels are fading out and the gain volume is also messed up on channel 2 where i have to tap the top in order to get the volume back up. This is what my guitar center rep told me. RANE warrants the Rane FOUR against defects in material or workmanship for a period of two (2) years. You can receive an additional year of warranty for a total of 3 years by registering your product on the Rane website.

Rane Performer with 4 channels and moving platters was just leaked in the Superbowl this weekend as well! Ouch! At least it was a 4 channel mixer, so you can just use the other channels just in case this happens again.

Same thing happen to me I sprayed it with fader oil I bought from Amazon a month ago and it stop doing it I don know if it will work for you but it did for me

I had the same issue and sent mine back to RANE and they replace it with a brand new one Thus far no issues with the new one

My unit has problems with BOTH upfaders. Really sad as im a big rane supporter.

I was gonna buy it but too many ppl complained, so I went with DDJ FLX 10

I think it just doesn’t want to play that beat maybe 😅jk Rane Fours are the epitome of! 🎉

I have exactly the same problem with my RANE 4 now, channel 1 upfader cuts the volume which touching it sometimes, hugely annoying. Sad thing is that my RANE ONE right LP/HP filter did the same thing, just shorts out when using it, i thought I was just unlucky, so im interested to see that others are having the same issue. Mine is still in warrenty but its a huge hassle to pack it up and send it back. If any one has any vids on how to fix this please let me know!

I’ve had some issues with my channel 2 upfader, the volume won’t be as loud as it should be idk what is causing it

Mine had the same issue with volume fader 1. I brought it back to the shop, waiting for the repairs.

I heard rane doesn’t repair stuff out of warranty anymore they will refer you to an independent shop

Can you make a video talking about the service of Rane after repair your controller? I heard that this controller comes with problems but Rane usually repair it quickly

I returned 4 rane 4 controllers because of jog wheels slipping they replaced all of them I had enough now I have the pioneer it’s excellent

Let me tell you something when you take it apart your going to see the way they ground the circuit boards it’s not very good idea in my opinion. Also I retighten all the screws on the circuit boards as they were not even snug because they rely on grounding .I had a left platter issue after cleaning all the ground spots on the bottom cover it almost is 100 percent but not there yet . You could also have a ground issue from that channel there is no telling. I’m not happy with the quality as well I do love the unit but damn Be careful with the screws you remove cause some are different so pay good attention where they go .

Damn dawg you going that rough on your faders? Have you tried taking care of your shit? You treat any faders like that you'll get a short

Anyone having problems with the jogs? Mine on the right side, at times it doesn't respond, I try to pull it back and forth and the music keeps playing! Does anyone know a solution? Send it to Rane?

Rane ain't the Rane it used to be.

That can happen to all Controllers! That has nothing to do with ranes build quality!
