Well, that tidbit of information was extremely helpful.. I've been watching many othe Rane Four reviews for more than two hours, yet not one other Rane Four video bothered to explain this small yet very important detail. Thank you for your time and effort, I really appreaciate it.

I agree. I did the same thing. I watched every video I could find on the features of the unit, but no-one explained out to exit steam split mode. Happy to help.

Excellent tip. And great explanation showing the dual decks playing in Serato. Edit: hang on, can't you just use Slip Mode so when you're scratching the vocals or instrumental, when you finish, it slips back into normal play alongside the other deck, instead of having to press the Stems Split button?

Glad to help. I like the flx10 as well. Nothing compares to CDJ platters. I’m a littler torn now that I Rane four. I should have waited to get the FLX10

How do I get the next track to play my headphones when I have headphones connected? I hear the current track plan but the other deck I don’t hear the music playing in the headphones prior to me playing.

I am very pleased with it. Although I have heard about people complaining about the screens on the jogwheels not being centered. Luckily, mine was OK As far as the construction goes so I did not encounter that problem. The platters are a little heavy for lack of a better term. They’re definitely not like Pioneer CDJ platters. They feel more like a carryover from the Denon SC 6000 minus the tension control
