Clearly.... this isn't a fair comparison as these two controllers are different price points. I'm fully aware, but as I've stated before, this is a review and comparison of each of the two controllers I have and purchased with MY OWN MONEY. This is a comparison video of low-mid entry class controller versus a higher end professional controller.

Both great platforms but the Rane is tier level. It also come down to decisions and how practical it will be used. You covered it all, SB3? is nice but the FLX6 is better for more use. Great content brother. The FLX6 just needs a little more getting used to it but the Rane is where it’s at and it also come with the price.

Funny thing is that I actually had to make a choice between buying the Rane or the fldx Primarily because I needed to upgrade frkm my sb3 Would I do a two step upgrade Or just jump straight to pro level I am glad I did my Rane one I love it

a friend of mine has the Pioneer DDJ-FLX6 the screen on the plater goes out for a few mins and back on and if it has to be turned of and on again ! and plays fine after any idea what it could be ? thanks stay safe

I definitely gonna move from flx6 to Rane one, eight months using flx6 and already is broken, while using the effects it turns off alone, the jogs works when they want, no chances to scratch properly, no chance to get my money back, definitely Rane one is my best option according to my budget

One good thing you can tell he enjoyed the flx6 sure it's apples and oranges but in a way not really Most people will make such a transition if not upgrading to the Rane at least the ddj 1000 or some other thousand plus controller This gave us some.insights s I am using the sb3 I djay at a hotel with it And parties I have my own pà system and I bring along my mpc x so my table doesent look so empty

Lol, I enjoyed this review. I do have the DDJ Flx6. I think the Rane one is more superior in build and input and output functions. So yeah it has the upper hand over the flx6. I'm a bedroom DJ and didn't want to shell out the extra 1000 dollars for home djing and some mobile djing here and there. Plus, I do have two turntables already. To have two turntables and a controller that acts like two turntables seemed redundant for me. I could've of gotten the DDJ 1000. Still, I think this controller has some of the same features as the DDJ 1000 and at less the cost. I just started to incorporate 4 deck mixing so four channels was a must. The guys I think you were trying to mention was Pri yon Joni. He just did a video where he connected two turntables to the flx6. I'm hoping he does a video on how he did the connection. Thanks for your honest review. I was expecting this to go a different way lol.

Now that part you can actually midi mapping one of the square pads that were not available on Serato, I truly have full experience with Serato and rekordbox 💯💯💯 10:07

The Rane is designed around scratch and turntablism, the pioneer is more of an entry level controller more for mixing.

Great video. However, I can’t see myself keeping the FLX over the Rane one. Even if you aren’t using it at a club setting (Rane one) and you are just keeping it in a home environment, I will certainly keep the Rane one because of superior quality, a much superior sound card, more of a vinyl feel, and you can’t beat those jogwheels along with the quality you get with Rane. But, that’s just me.

Sending that Rane back would make Daddy saddy. That’s like trading in Megan Fox for a more sensible girl.

This was really not a fair comparison but I understand what you saying about some of the features..

A flx sr2 comparison makes more sense... on is literally 1000 dollars more.than the other. ... and spinning platters... the flx is the sr2 but with some different features. This is a totally unfair comparison. It's like comparing a Maserati to a Kia. Each one of them have their own special value. But, at the end of the day, the RANE is the full grown stud while the FLX6 is the toddler.

Just a thought if you are comparing a $1500 Raine controller to a $600 Pioneer controller seems like an unfair comparison if you are going to compare controllers maybe it should be the Raine compared to say a DDJ 1000. I honestly think that would be a more fair comparison in the end Honestlyt comparing 2 things with different pricepoints are obviously going to have glaring differences in both output and input. And seing the comment that you are comparing low to mid bs high end is not a justification if you can't afford to compare equal products then don't do a comparison then again thatis just my opinion that is like me comparing a Ford escort to a Porche.
