I want all of this in a standalone with 12" platters, the ability to put efx on stems and all the bells and whistles of the Prime 4+. Yes, all of them lol... Until then I'm sticking with the Prime 4+. I know no one reading this cares. But a man can dream.

12" probably won't happen, the increase in size would increase manufacturing and shipping costs, and I'm not sure the demand would justify it. Everything else tho .... possible

So basically, it's a rane four but mottorize very nice but not completely sold on it what would been cool is if they would have kept the spindles with the display that would show album artwork rotating like a turntable and put a USB slot for recording/playback and not rely on the laptop so much which i think would make better for guest dj's to plug anf play,all in all looks sharp and fun to play with but nothing really change is it worth 2G's yes but to spend that kind of money on something that is similar to what you have is a bit much for me.Just my opinion but hats off to rane the magnetic vinyle is on point

I hope this unit does not have the ground issues like my Rane 4 and a lot of others had problems with as well ,I repaired the issue with the ground problem Poor engineering in my opinion . Would I buy this now I got mine fixed Hell No it’s got a motor how long before that takes a crap .

Good morning. When applying the sticker on the platter, is the goal to line the sticker up with one of the 'notches' and, if so, which one? The white marking at 12 o'clock or the white marking at 2 o'clock? Or does it simply not matter when I place it? Thanks in advance!!

@@djbobrokk723 I picked up the Performer today and now I REALLLLLLY want a 4 channel Rane battle mixer. It's soooo nice. Don't get me wrong, I love my 12/72 setup, but this can do so much more. If nothing, give me a firmware update for the 72 for the effects and stems separation.

Still no way to get progressive control of each stem individually? Really love this, but I think I'm waiting for the first controller with four EQ knobs. Having to trim bass and instrumental together feels like a limitation creatively. I would like five really, for separate kick and rhythm stems, as sometimes you want to transition the kick contour, but that seems unlikely. Serato really pulling ahead with stems though, also excited about better effects both in Serato and Rane on-board - long overdue (I've a 72).

The closest you can get to controlling each stem individually is running a Traktor S8 re-mapped in VDJ, it only has 4 faders on each channel that you can assign to the stems, but it is enough. VDJ also allows you full stem control on your EQ + gain knob, giving you 4 stems on any controller.

@@jeffaguilar7788 thanks, I tried this (although with a Novation Launchpad), it was a year ago now, but it was hopelessly unreliable - you couldn't get through a single tune without it falling over, let alone a set, let alone live, and I really did try for several months to get it working.

The Performer is Definitely… Better, REV 7 Cheap built’, Rane Performer is Heavier of course -28 pounds’… not an Issue for me personally!, Knobs on RANE Metal not Plastic, Many Options for Open Formatt Dj’s👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😅, Heckuva Treat for a DJ who… is not Cheap towards himself, RANE has Done HomeWork and Paying Attn Too!!’…. Enjoy and make ya own Decision😮😊,

@@BibblebabblerBuyer beware. This controller looks great, and if you feel its worth it, by all means pull the trigger. But these guys will have us controller chasing every year, just for minor changes or enhancements.

Everybody starts these reviews with, "these are built like tanks". My One snapped the right channel volume fader at the base within a month. Tried forever to get Rane customer support to assist... crickets. Crossfader replace, no problem. Volume channel fader? Prepare to completely break down and rebuild. Why they don't make all the faders easily replaceable is beyond me. Oh... and the left fx toggle flipper is stuck in the on position. Other than those issues... I love it. But for 2k, that's two things too many failing.

My DJM S11 is 2 grand and still needs 2 decks, a CDJ is 2400 and still needs a mixer and another deck, CDJ 's also require you to have a laptop to prepare your music...it's a controller... They all need laptops...

First of all I just wanted to let you know why i’m *NOT* going to watch any of your content anymore.   1. I think your channel is great  2. Your content are on point and really interesting and up to date. 3. I used to watch a bunch of your videos for inspiration and ideas  . So why am i leaving?   *KZfaqS AGGRESSIVE AD CAMPAIGNS*   I do not condone to sit and watch 10-15, 1-2 minute breaks with content that does not interest me one bit.   Hair or skin products, electric vehicles commercials, fast, snacks and junk food commercials, travel guides or offers   Not a single of these KZfaq ads has a reference to your channel or the content that you produce.    Sorry, my time is more valuable than all these KZfaq ads.
