Just got my rane 70 two days ago. I had the rane 62. Can't wait to get in to this mixer and learn all that it can do.

@22:20 One improvement I suggest on the Rane firmware side : Ability to permanently map the filter resonance setting to one of the knobs on the mixer in order to sculpt the sound without having to go inside the menus to adjust it. For example we could be able to assign that to the Sample level, Cue/Mix, Mic Tone, Time or Beat knobs.

@3:10 the saved loops is strange, I would expect it to work like cues : - tap an empty pad to save the loop - tap normally on the loops to trigger them - shift-tap to a saved loop pad to erase it Why this inverted logic of having to use shift to trigger the loops and no ability to delete them ??

I like the Rane Seventy.The cross fader tension adjust and seperate loops are the winning feature that make it more appealing then the slightly over the top Seventy Two.The Seventy has the features i need but not a whole bunch of features i will probably never use.Its also cheaper so its a major contender for becoming my main mixer with the Numark scratch as a back up once i have a few quid.

I just got the rane 70 mixer and was wondering how do i play regular vinyl? Does Serato need to be up as no sound is coming out? I just replaced my rane ttm56 mixer where i played regular vinyl without serato.

Just ordered the Rane Seventy.. I chose it over the Reloop Elite solely for the silent cue.. can wait for it to arrive

Hi guys, I’m wondering if i can add a midi controller as a complimentary device for my Rane Seventy mixer to control more than two decks in Serato DJ? I’m currenly using a rane seventy with a pair of twelve to control deck 1 and 2 and would like to add a midi controller to control the deck 3 and 4. I’m planning to map the midi controller as a deck transport control and also mixer control. As the Rane Seventy is just a two channel mixer, will it able to send all the decks (1-4) sound output into the mixer master output?

So I really want a good 3 channel Serato mixer with pads on it and the only mixer I can find is the Mixars Quattro, but I don't like the pad arrangement and the efx and some of the other features. So would connecting the DDJ-SB2 (or some other controller/mixer) via usb, be best way to get more channels?
