The reason why the sound work for the crazy guy is different is because that part is shown like a 'drama in a theatre'. The meaning of the word 'Rangastalam' is 'Stage' (like in a drama or theater. the literal meaning of 'Rangasthalam' is 'the colorful place')

It's not "colorful place". Rangam means "field/stage". Don't confuse it for "rangu" = color. Sthalam means "place". Rangasthalam means a place where a drama/play is staged. It also stands for our life in general which is a mix of so many emotions ala a play. The parallel that I can draw for a non-Hindu or non-Indian is the Shakespearean quote of "World's a stage. Men and women are mere players". But, for us Hindus, we know the concept of our life being the dream of Lord Vishnu. So, we're just projections in his dream. There is a popular philosophical line by Veturi, the famous Telugu lyricist "నరుడి బ్రతుకు నటన.. ఈశ్వరుడి తలపు ఘటన" which losely translates to "Man's life is an act. It's God's thought that's the reality".

@@agsumus The director had said in an interview that he'd characterized the antagonist after a snake. So I was just impressed that Syntell was able to make the comparision immediately. You'll get it if you watch the whole movie. Nobody was actually able to make that connection until the director revealed it.

They crazy guy tried to break the 4th wall btw if you hadn't noticed. He called those people as roles and was talking about how the roles are gonna get over in this story called Rangasthalam....i think it's my first time seeing such a scene in Indian Cinema- A character inside the movie realizes that he is inside a story and is being watched Edit: Looks like i assumed wrong,but i found the other way explained by people in the replies interesting too

That's because "Rangasthalam" means the stage where a play is run.. It's a pun.. So, people in Rangasthalam village are like the characters/roles on a stage

the cup thing is that the president workers use to give a nice glass of buttermilk to the outsider but when he is going out the workers tell them to clean the glass and go which is disrespectful but this time chitti babu smashed the glass

The stigma associated with wearing a hearing aid is real. That's how you see the new age hearing aids which are IIC (Invisible in the canal). Hearing loss is the disability which is made most fun of (especially in Telugu and Indian movies). So, it's obvious that the disabled do not want to advertise/wear it.

Regarding that Glass scene....it shows Untouchability and caste system in india...back in 1900's low caste people were asked to clean the utensils they touch by them r they were served by different set of utensils in the high caste people houses.

One guy in his live stream told rrr got postponed then achara told that jaby told that they will watch even that film when it comes in ott now understand all he wants is just money go check his live stream during Christmas..that's why he stopped watching movies in theatres leaving Hollywood movies that's comes from interest this comes from content and money. Even in his his his live stream someone told him to watch valimai he told he will watch when it comes in ott.. He has no interest in Indian cinema.
