Do you have to go that slow with them? And stop every time it beeps? Or was that just for the video? We’d like to get a big round baler for hay, and a small baler for alfalfa for milking.

Looks like there might be a market for reconditioning old Allis Chalmers Rotobalers. Bet the weight difference of the bales isn't much.

How long to bale 1 acre of land? It looks slow.

We were going way slower than we had to Features & Specifications: • 40-55 bales per hour • Auto twine tie system (use any standard baler twine) • Self-contained hydraulics • No external tractor hydraulics required • 20-40 hp with 540 PTO (Lift capacity permitting) • 3 point hitch • 3 manual bale settings • Steel rollers (no belts) • Hydraulic manual control lift gate • Chain pick up adjustment • Working Speed 2-5 km/hr • Unit weight 968 lbs Bale dimensions 27.5″ x 28″ (45-55 lbs) Adjustable wheel base 45″- 51″

What's the advantages over a small square baler ?

You can run this Baler with an a small tractor 20-40 hp most old square balers would need a larger tractor to run.

Outside storage,small rounds keep, just like big rounds.
