Quick Note: This video was created for people who are interested in buying an L322 Range Rover and want to become more familiar with the interior. For those of you who already own an L322 Range Rover or have spent time in any Land Rover or Range Rover model, you're likely already used to most of the interior. I know my subscribers who are owners/enthusiasts will find this video to be a very basic assessment of the Range Rover interior, but that was my goal with this video. As always, thanks for watching!

It's time again for another L322 Range Rover video! Today, I decided to do something a bit different compared to the other Range Rover videos I've done. There's no fancy b-roll or editing. This video is all about a complete overview of the interior of the Range Rover L322 from 2011. The entire purpose of this video is to get people who are interesting in buying their first Range Rover more accustom to some of the interior aspects of the Range Rover L322.
When I was looking to buy my first Range Rover, I always wanted to see an interior tour of the L322 to have a better understanding of what it was like. I always wanted someone to go through the infotainment system so that I could know what expect, and I always wanted someone to show off the TFT display.
So today, I'm bringing you a video that does all of that. In this video, I'll take you on a complete tour of the L322 Land Rover Range Rover's interior. Throughout the video, I'll show you how to use the TFT display and instrument cluster, and I'll walk you through the different aspects of the infotainment system, navigations system, audio controls, 4x4 info, and terrain response.
After that, we'll head into the back seat of the L322 Range Rover to take a look at the rear passenger comfort. In my Range Rover, there are no rear headrest-mounted displays, as that was an optional extra that the original owner did not spec. However, this model does feature the luxury package, which included rear heated seats, front cooled seats, as well as some other options.
Hopefully, this Range Rover car tour helped you learn something new about the L322 Range Rover interior. I love getting to make videos about the Range Rover, so I hope that this video helped you find something new during my Range Rover car tour.

The double door lock is useful to prevent being carjacked or mugged. You only unlock one door and avoid some theif getting in the car from the other side pointing a gun or knife in you face ! As an owner of 3 range rovers in Morocco, believe me that’s very useful.

Hey Patrick, I just got my 2012 RR SC. I just could not figure out how to use my Bluetooth to play songs. How do you play music on your RR? Please let me know. Thank you. P.S I heard some humming noice while accelerating, is it just the supercharger working or I need to do the timing chain service? I am a little paranoid about it. lol

I use the iPod connectivity/interface. If you look on Amazon, they're $100 from Jag/Land Rover. Don't pay that. I have one I bought for $10 plus $4 for a lightning adapter from Amazon, and it's worked flawlessly. I don't think bluetooth audio was introduced until 2013 in the L405 - I think. It's probably just the supercharger. The timing chain is more of a *tick tick tick tick* noise. I get it haha. We're all paranoid about them!

Just got a 2012 RR Supercharged. I have heard their biggest problem is the timing chain. Would you tell us more about it ?

Usually around 80k miles, you'll need to look into doing the timing chain service. Obviously, it varies from car to car, but that's a safe number. Some do start causing misfires and engine knocking as early as 70k miles, though, and will immediately need to be repaired. If left without service, you're usually looking at engine replacement. I've had people comment in the past saying they were looking at $20k for parts and labor, but I can't confirm that. The $4k to $6k it would cost to do the timing chain service would be much cheaper. It is truly the achilles heel of the 5.0 L Jaguar V8.

And did you get an after market warranty when you got the car ? What is your opinion on those warranty ?

I wasn't able to find a warranty that would cover it, as it was about to roll over to 100,000 miles. No warranty company wanted to touch it. None that were worth the money, at least. USAA (according to some subscribers) has a great warranty for the L322 with lower miles. My timing chain was done before I bought it. I'm moving halfway across the country in a few months, and once I settle in, I'm planning on taking it in for another major service - timing chain, diff, gearbox, etc. But that's honestly just preventative maintenance at this point. For me, I'd just take it to a dealer or authorized service center/mechanic. I'd mess something up horribly if I tried digging around the engine bay, so it's cheaper long term for me to pay someone to do it who backs their work up with a warranty. But I've seen a lot of people save the money DIY. I'm not suited for that, though. 😂😂
