This is the compatible product for your car unique-ad.co.uk/product/wireless-apple-carplay-and-android-auto-interface-for-range-rover-l405-and-range-rover-sport-l494/ This is the installation video we have for the L405 model and there is also a detailed installation manual in the box. This model is plug and play fitting so nothing needs to be modified/soldered.

Everything wired up and plugged in but pressing the sat nav button shows a blank screen. Have I missed something in the setup?

Hi There. Yes, that's correct for this model. So Apple CarPlay/Android Auto can integrate to the car as seamless as possible.

I have a 2016 Range Rover Sport and the side buttons are slightly different, plus my dash is in one piece instead of 2 like the video. How is it different? I test installed this box, and the carplay screen is off colour and screen not centre so missing a bit. The sound was terrible as well, im assuming its not compatible, but according to your list it should be??

If your car is using the same product shown in this video, then yes, you can set it up to use factory microphone for phone calls and use wheel button to answer phone calls as before. The instructions the accompany this system are piss poor. It explains nothing, and covers only the most basic aspects of the installation. You guys really couldn't be bothered to include a diagram? Pretty sad
