RR SOCKS! My new 2020 RR PHEV I bought on 6/2020 from Official dealer in GA had engine light turned on when I came back home, still turned on after 3 times back to dealer service with changing different parts. Now has been at service 4th time for last month and they said that all this model cars in the world will be recalled for new hybride software that will be ready at the end of September 2020. 3 months after buying a new very expensive car, still stuck to service. Dealer said that JLR refused replacement because any car they replace will need the same software update all p400e models in the world will be recalled.

This is a troll car from Land Rover to cheat on the stricter emission rules. Because this car is a hybrid, it's allowed to go into lower emission zones in big cities. Well played Land Rover, well played....

With those emissions and that range, id say you’ll be lucky to get 10 miles, there is no point whatsoever in the car.

Sloppy journalism. I run this car in Shanghai and I regularly get 30 miles on E mode, maybe you ran it on a particularly cold day, in which case you should caveat. Also, if you want a RRS via company car scheme, you’d be absolutely bonkers not to consider this car. It’s about 50% cheaper via UK BIK vs an equally powered V6 diesel. How did you miss that point. Volvo ostensibly may be better, specs wise but IMO you can’t compare the two brands.

7 and half hours it’s disappointing and only goes 15 miles what if I have a long journey the Petrol is better!

Model X is over £100k once specced and the only time you see them in Europe is on tow trucks! The other problem if you do big miles ( me ) and stay away a lot is the Tesla dealers are few and far between for when the door won't open or a window won't go back up.

Not sure I understand want is meant by "if you have one up the drive you have made it". I would be embarrassed to have such a huge ice age beast up my drive. Surely it's time to reduce the size, weight, and wreckless consumption. But at least they are trying to electrify them for the school run. Looking forward to fully electric one..or wait for Tesla model Y

Nobody, but nobody needs a car like this. When you see someone climb into a large suv you are looking at a selfish, egotistical person. Hybrid is a step in the right direction but even if it was fully electric, as with many current electric models, they use a lot more energy than a more modest car such as e-Niro or Golf id3. If you must let us know how important and successful you are, buy an over-priced watch.

@@vc8160 Do try to keep up. I know the environment is a complicated issue but make an effort will you. FYI : a. I can afford a Land Rover but choose not to and b. To my shame I've owned 2 LR Discoveries about 20 years ago so no, I'm not envious, sounds as though you are judging me by your own standards. Don't do that, it makes you sound bitter.

Robert You’re right, I am judging you off your initial post. Your reply is once again out of jealously. The old chestnut... I can afford it but choose to drive a golf instead. Regarding your environmental statement, most days I don’t use any fuel and re charge my P400e each day and night using solar energy, and have been through two tanks of fuel over the past 12,000kms. Yes this may use more energy than your golf, but electric energy is free when charging through solar. Also since you mentioned it, I do have an overpriced Breitling watch too. Just for your information Robert, I don’t think I’m better than you, or anyone, but when you make uneducated, judgemental statements expect a response.
