Okay this was really amazing. But it did take off from a flat. So that already gives you a good range. I also installed the djifcc patch. The Italian guy. But it's too windy the last few days. So need to wait what my Mini 3 pro will do over my town. Unfortunately i live on the 1st floor in my flat, and no way to get to the roof🤣 did 600 meters on the CE. So very curious about the fcc patch

Damn!!! That's good. Did the drone RTH automatically or did you bring it home cos you thought it wouldn't get back? the RC signal looks like it could have gone further.

@Michael Robinson 1st it isn't my patch And 2nd there has been a recent update So I updated the drone reinstalled the patch all is fine Will he doing another range test when weather clears up

No of course not the fcc patch is on the radio not the drone And if there was any problem with radio in future you just uninstall the patch then before you send to dji ;)

The app is on youtube everytime I upload it youtube takes it down Type dji fcc app mavic air 2 on youtube this app works for every drone apart from the dji mini 1

No the mini 1 is not good drone wifi only drone Get a mini 2 or 3 I coudnt get past 1500 meters with mini 1 in past

@Oliver Graham mini 3 100% battery plus version takes it way further on a very very good day which I've not had yet the mini 3 pro will reach 6 miles + out on a very good day the mini 2 will reach just over 4 miles

just bought the fcc hack from djifcc cost was £34.70 english ponds. works fine, he was there for support as the folder i extracted the files to needed to be anti virus disabled. should be able to send my drone from warrington to you in wigan now.HAHA if only

@Michael Robinson got mine off aliexpress fly more combo plus The drone performs better with the extra weight and that flight time is a plus plus With the standard battery your only gonna get 4 mile max before bring it back and that's on a good day My next range test will be at least 5 mile out and back just waiting for the perfect day now
