I first saw Urmila as a child artist in the 1982 film Masoom when I was just 6. Cut to 1995 when I was in college and the enchanting music of Rangeela and Asha Bhonsle's voice in a new avatar caught my ears. We had a walkman in those days and played Rangeela's cassette over and over again. The movie began with this song which is a dream sequence. Urmila's character Mili dreams of becoming a glamourous star. Been 27 yrs since the film released.

According to your comment, I much younger than you.. but the by going through your comment I came across those nostalgic moment of typical "reverse & forward" if my music player not working in reverse order I used my pencil!!!!!! Those days & atmosphere of that time was incredible..😭😭😭 many says that each generation miss their own days & think their childhood days to college are incredible!! It's true but 90's Era is incomparable.... from postcard, to cassette tape to STD Booth...😭😭

@@vickyvicky2734 to be frank, back in the 90s, people did think of tech fuelled conveniences such as mobile phones and video calls which are commonplace now. Pagers were a big thing in the 90s and anyone who carried one was considered upwardly mobile. Even a job in a paging company call centre was much sought after then. I remember being excited about my first job in the late 90s, in a company selling mobile phones and connections. Job adverts routinely advertised "computer literacy" and typing speed of 40wpm. Contrast this with now. 🙂 The one thing that's made life miserable yet easy to stay connected instantly is social media. While immediacy is there and urgent messages can be quickly communicated in detail through texts or voice messages instead of resorting to snail mail and telegrams, the warm feeling of receiving and reading actual words on a paper instead of just emojis, is sorely missed. People's reading and writing skills have also since then, taken a nosedive. Ironically, people did wish for the tech we use widely today. But the rise of tech in lives comes at a cost and that cost is, the rewiring of the brain and as a result, different emotions
