That v6 3.0 won't see light here in our country, considering the trends within the automotive industry in the Philippines. Look at Aus for example. The specs of their vehicles are definitely better than what we have here. Take the Australian Fx4 version as an example. They're offering the 2.0 biturbo version as an engine of choice. They're also equipped with DRL's. Here we have none of that mainly because the price point of that variant will be higher, thus resulting into lower volume of sales. That v6 won't appeal to Filipino buyers because it's not "Economical" for a truck considering that most Ranger Raptor owners spend most of their time driving within the city. The marketing team of Ford will most likely consider the traffic conditions of the country, thus it will be one of the deciding factors whether they will make it available within the Philippines. More appeal = More sales. That 2.0 Ecoblue diesel engine makes the most sense since its fuel efficient and is only serviced once a year. Filipinos do love that "bang for the buck" for every purchase they make, which I think is a great characteristic. If ford really want to establish a solid footing within the Philippines. That 2.0 Ecoblue Biturbo should definitely be their flagship. Given that the engine will be refined and fine tuned for years to come.

HOw so with the raptor engine? please explain further. First time pickup buyer lookin at the raptor.

@@mardouqhouseofe3962 from what i understood putting 2 turbos on a small engine is a bad idea for longevity. What's the function of a turbo? To increase power of the engine. How? By compressing air and chugging it on the engine. This increases the power output but also increase pressure inside the engine. So basically it stresses the engine into producing more power. The raptor has 2 of these that work in combo for the engine to produce more power because it is a 2 liter engine considered small for a truck. Im sure these modern engines are specially designed to take the stress but the concept remains. I think we will know when the raptor reaches 10 years and beyond and see if they don't break prematurely. It is all theory take it with a grain of salt. If you like the truck and have to money to maintain it. Well give it a go. If you care for it im sure anything can last. Frequent maintenance will go a long way.

The raptor is equipped with a coil rear spring, contrast to heavy duty pick up which uses leaf rear spring, same with the nissan navara, the raptors payload capacity is compromised by its play and go characteristics,

Reasonable price. Isa pa naka comprehensive insurance ka kaya participation lang babayaran mo. Almost 2 years na Raptor ko after 4 years bibenta ko para bumili ulit ng newest version and model ng R. Raptor. Best truck I ever have, love driving it everyday.

Its great no problem. My R. Raptor is almost two years old now and it is suoer gun to drive off and on roads. Best truck I ever have. After 4 years Im going to sell it and buy the newest version of the R. Raptor. Mas magaan pa sya idrive sa 2000 H. Civic and 2013 RAV4 ko kahit napakalaki ng tires ng Raptor. Napansin ko pa sa engine nya wala kang maririnig na clanking sound o tiyope ng rocker arm huni lang ng turbo maririnig mo at pagpress mo sa accelerator para ka ng sinisibad sa kalye. Comfortable pa sa long drive!
