I'm a guy and I'm 17 I actually cried when they got their cutie mark, man that was the best episode ever, and good reaction over there

Thirty blind reactions later and I still tear up every time. I have a theory. Equestria is a land that uses harmony as a means to power the magic of the land. As long as the ponies stay in harmony with Equestria, the Tree of Harmony (and EoH) can function and keep the place peaceful and pleasant. It is, however, possible for ponies to fall out of harmony with the land. When it happens, you tend to get ponies like Tiara, Suri, Flim/Flam, and Spoiled Rich. They fall out of harmony with the land and, as a result, lose the connection to others and even with themselves; making them more rotten or miserable. When Tiara's CM lit up, it was Equestria re-syncing her up with the harmony of the land, essentially helping her to see how to be the best possible version of herself in harmony with everyone around her.

Awesome things about this episode: -Diamond Tiara songs -Silver Spoon being sassy to Diamond Tiara -Diamond Tiara redemption -like 5 songs -Diamond Tiara's mom -mention of AJ and Applebloom's parents -proud Rainbow and Scootaloo -proud Rarity and Sweetiebell -THEY GOT THEIR CUTIE MARKS -LITERALLY EVERYTHING -THERE IS NOTHING NOT WORTH MENTIONING ABOUT THIS EPISODE OMG THIS IS AMAZING

The Cutie Mark Crusaders seem like they'll crusade for the cutie marks of others as opposed to their own from now on.

I'm not ashamed to say that I actually got teary eyed when they got their marks.

"I'm glad Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon got a redeeming episode" Technically only Diamond has been redeemed.

I notice that their cutie marks contain three elements, some of which references what we already know about them. There is the Shield, which represents the Cutie Mark Crusaders, then Applebloom has a heart inside an apple, Sweetie Belle has a quaver inside a star, and Scootaloo has a lightning bolt inside a wing. I can't think of any anypony else with complex cutie marks :)

My favorite part in the vote song is the way Diamond tries to convince the students to vote for her. It's a different tactic every time she sings. First she slanders Pip, calling him weak and elevating herself. Then she tries threats and blackmail. Then she tries bribery, promising perks she obviously won't. It tells a lot about her home life that these are the tactics she will use. You'd swear she was a politician.

Then Diamond Tiara had no more parts in CMC episodes and just became another background pony.

I've only just thought about this - about Silver Spoon's relationship with Diamond Tiara. You know that phrase, "born with a silver spoon in their mouth"? I always thought Silver Spoon's name and Cutie Mark were supposed to be about herself...but what if Silver Spoon was really the "silver spoon" that Diamond Tiara was "born with"?

I always cry when I watch this episode whether its a reaction or not, it's just fulfilling to not only see the CMC finally get their cutie marks, but also see my least favorite character (Diamond Tiara) turn herself completely around to the point where I don't even hate her anymore

At 16:45, Diamond Tiara looks just like what she is supposed to be: A playful, fun-loving little filly. Also, when she's going down the slide.

First time I saw this episode, I cried tears of joy from 18:35 (I could just FEEL what was happening) until the end. This season and the feels indeed. 20:53 That's my new Desktop wallpaper. ^_^

Starlight Glimmer is misguided in her purpose in life. This is the perfect opportunity for the Cutie Mark Crusaders to show their purpose.

In my opinion, this episode passed Slice of Life for my most favorite. I used to say one of my favorites, but this makes the top, top, top spot. It's going to be near impossible to find a better one.

I agree for a generation 5 I'd like it to be about the CMC, with Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, and Babs Seed as the new mane six saving Equestria. Pipsqueak could be the new mayor of Ponyville, Twilight succeeded Celestia, Celestia retires, and the old mane six all reached their life goals and moved on with life.

EP 18 I fucking adore this amazing episode. 1st I learned that the title is a reference to Indiana Jones. I love how it begins with a really great song called We’ll make our Mark. I love how Pipsqueak comes to the CMC for help. I love how Sweetie Belle helps him give a high-hoof with her magic. I love the continuity with the season 4 finale showing that Tirek damaged more than just the library. I love that Pip wants to do something constructive while Diamond Tiara just wants to be frivolous. I love how we find out her mother Spoiled Rich is a member of the school board because it explains why Cheerilee never calls Diamond Tiara out on her shit. I love how the other kids even Silver Spoon are actually realizing they don’t have to listen to Diamond Tiara. I love the song that comes next because it has Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon and the CMC singing. I love how Diamond Tiara only got one vote from herself. Wow Silver Spoon really took her to town didn’t she? I love how the CMC decide to check on Diamond Tiara because it shows how nice they are. I can’t believe how much of a horrible bitch Diamond Tiara’s mother Spoiled Rich is and it explains why DT acts the way she does. Also does Diamond Tiara's father Filthy Rich know how her mother treats her because he always seems like a nice enough pony. The song Diamond Tiara sings The Pony I Want to Be is amazing. I like that Diamond Tiara is another pony who doesn’t understand her cutie mark like Trouble Shoes. I am impressed that this show made me feel sorry for Diamond Tiara and want to help her. I love how the CMC decide to help Diamond Tiara by offering friendship. I like how Diamond Tiara sounds like Sweetie Belle when she says “really?”. I love how much of a Tsundere Diamond Tiara is when agreeing to hang out with the CMC. I love how Diamond Tiara repeats what Twilight Sparkle said about the CMC during Twilight Time that not having a cutie Mark gives you Unlimited potential. I love how Diamond Tiara was starting to change and then Pipsqueak interrupts. It's no surprise the playground supplies were denied with Spoiled Rich being a member. I love the song Light of your Cutie Mark because of how intense it is and how synchronized the CMC were when singing. I also love how we can see the turmoil going on in Diamond Tiara's head just by her facial expressions. Spoiled Rich is a classist someone who looks down on social classes they consider below them. I love how Diamond Tiara stands up to her mother with a burn that no amount of magic or science can heal. I love how the cutie mark she has is for a talent for leading by helping create a new playground. I love how she boosts the confidence of ponies with secret talents by having them help with the playground. I love the reprise of The Pony I Want to Be because of the animation and how it shows how great understanding your cutie mark is. I love how the CMC’s talent is to help other ponies find their special talents. Also I know the animators might have just wanted to make it impressive but I think there is something special about how they got very similar cutie marks at the same time. I completely worship the rest of the episode. I love how every pony in town happy for the CMC getting their cutie marks. I love how they acknowledged Applejack and Applebloom's parents are dead when Applejack says their parents would have been proud of her. I love how Rainbow Dash and Rarity congratulate Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle. I love how Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Rarity all sing to the CMC. I love how at the end of the episode a new photo is sent to Celestia and Luna. I love all the crazy faces in this episode that will surely inspire new memes. I love all the new young ponies we see in this episode including more of Button Mash. I have a theory that ponies from different parts of the world have different characteristics which explains why Pipsqueak is smaller than other ponies we see and has brown spots on his coat. I said that episode 9 was the perfect episode but no episode 18 is. >-∞-

this episode was amazing, it was worth the five year wait, i loved the songs and the character development, now i can say that i like Diamond Tiara, and i love the CMC's cutie marks, their search for their marks have come to a close, but as that chapter ends, a new book opens, this was a great video Ponyville Ranger, your reaction was awesome, Long Live The Cutie Mark Crusaders!!!!!!

No, because that will never happen. THESE writers have real guts, making enormous but well earned changes to mlp, like making Twilight an alicorn, and now this. You know what would be interesting to see in the future? Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon meeting back up with Babs Seed. I don't know what the episode would be, but I could see some interesting interactions there.

The voice of diamond tiara is Shantou strand and she also sings for diamond tiara and she's also the voice of filthy rich spoiled rich what I mean is she's a voice of spoiled rich and diamond tiara

and here's my MLP hypothesis. This season seems to be tying up loose ends with the Mane 6, so I'm thinking that the CMC, with maybe 3 other friends, will be taking over from next season =)

honestly speaking, normally i dont like the cmc episodes, actually i have on occasion, skipped over them. they were not my favourite episodes. but this episode is one of my new all-time favourites, cmc or otherwise. i cant wait until the next cmc episode to see the way they continue it. i am so happy that they finally gave diamond tiara a good backstory and a redeeming episode. i love the songs, some of my favourites. this season is amazing.
