On the game, I don’t think the players have lack of desire, how could you at places like Anfield, I just think they’re stifled by the tactics, and hands tied by the system they must play. Very harsh to say “mcgregor is the only one with pass marks” think the 3 CBs had a good performance, Goldson had one of his best defensive displays I’ve seen him have and I think you need to look at the positive that with Davies we’ve now got a strong partner at the back for Goldson he looked calm composed and yeah he gives the foul away but what can you do if someone scores from a dead ball from 30+ yards. It’s our attacking play that has cost us big time because the gaps are there in that Liverpool team.
