Why cant he learn english ? Theres players here less time than him that speak english. He makes plenty of money... hire a private tutor.

He speaks English. But being Captain requires more speaking responsibilities. European players nowadays have very good English. Go to Europe, most young people speak very good English, and are familiar with America thanks to the internet and globalization. Russian players are hit or miss on their level of English coming in. The ones from Siberia are probably the least proficient.

I'm not sure about now but back in the days Artemi was lazy😁 He told that in russian interview. In any sport you can find such guys who don't like studying languages. He would better go to arena and have extra training or smth instead😁
