The Flyers needed a regulation win… if it went to OT it’s a loss and they can’t mathematically pass Washington. They had nothing to lose pulling him at that point. Torts is a smart coach, a dick but he’s a great coach.

Torts pulled the goalie too soon and basically handed the Caps the playoff spot….. he lost the team when he scratched the captain and they were in a nosedive since. Players are tired of his garbage….. I expect a lot of coaching changes heading into next season. Devils, definitely, Flyers, most likely, Pens, strong possibility, and that’s just in the metro.

This will be a low scoring series, the Washington defense is very good despite their goal differential. I think Lindgren will steal a game and send 1 or 2 games to OT but the Rangers are a deeper team, our specialty teams are better. The Rangers went 2-2 in the season series and each team won on home ice. I’ll say Rangers in 5, Charlie Lindgren stealing one game in DC.

I don't like this match up because of there goaltender Lundgren is a pain in the ass, he beat the Rangers back in December of 2023 but I'm a die hard Rangers fan and I'm sticking with my Stanley cup finals prediction Rangers VS Vancouver and the Rangers win the cup. LET'S GO RANGERS LET'S WIN.

My prediction is that while my brain would like to say the series will be over in 5, my reality is that until the New York Rangers prove us wrong, this series will be going 7. Rangers always make it tougher than it needs to be.

you know its a diff team each year right, like new players/coaching/same players evolve (look at Laff and Bread this year) - ill be back to tell you how badly this comment aged when we sweep them, maybe 5games at MOST (our top 5 point scorers have more than double the points of WAS top 5 pnt scorers and their leader was Strome, not Ovi, with like 65 pnts, Panarin ALONE had 120, almost double lmfao

@JAWNDOEmusic I get that this is a different team, different coach...etc. would I love to see the Rangers sweep and take care of business in 4 or 5 games, that's a definite yes. All I'm saying is that we can't overlook any team just because of the Regular season stats. Once playoffs begin, it's a brand new season, less ice, less time, space get smaller, every play is a crucial play. I hope I am wrong, and this comment that I wrote can be laughed at after Rangers handle business, but tell me how many times have Ranger fans had to watch a game 7? There is no easy opponent come playoff time. Literally,look no further than last year when Boston played Florida, the point gap was substantial, yet Florida won. Look back to 2019 when Tampa Played Columbus and them Tampa got swept.

They have to sit down Gustafson he's a liability, they need to play Jones the kid is young and is fearless. and they have to play Rempe because Wilson is playing that's one guy I never liked he's a dirty player
