After he missed the level 2 timer from yasuo the only real mistake he made was fighting 2v2 with talon in top. Other than that he played it perfect for the situation he was in. Honestly props to him for only dying top lane once when Ivern was fiending for the dive on him

9:07 I was actually wondering how he stays out of turret range i thought it had something to do with the position in which Riven was facing but actually its a mechanic: "A nearby Airborne icon airborne enemy champion is required to cast this ability. If Yasuo would blink inside the attack range of an enemy Turret (excluding the Nexus Obelisk Nexus Obelisk), Last Breath will instead attempt to position him outside of it."

Yes, and since the ulr range is bigger than the eq hitbox, you sometimes wont get the airblade damage because you get placed out of range. Really depressing

Now I am not rank 1 riven EUW, but why not go duskblade here? Entire enemy is squishy, yasuo even tho he's ahead is building extremely squishy, he can get 1shot by riven with ignite. The enemy is yasuo and all ranged, he's never going to gore drinker more than 1 target. He can still go tabis, dd after duskblade to be tanky. Duskblade gives cdr like goredrinker and MS also for chasing their team.

Just a master player, but i would do the same because of just stats, he needs the health or a fed yas/akshan/ezreal just means he will not even live long enough to help. Also at the time of buying he was side laning against a melee character, so more usefull for dueling

It has to do with the mentality at the game. He mentioned multiple times that he was just making plays for Viktor and Zeri. Therefore it make sense to pick a mythic that make him tankier, and not trying to assassinate anyone.

the only reason ivern decided to spend his time top was to take advantage of the lead yasuo already had. I would agree that Talon griefed much extensively, but even removing jglers from the equation, that lane was lost lol

i understand u dont play top lane pants but this matchup is yasuo favored pre 6 especially level 1-3 very yasuo favored cuz of lethaltempo. riven wints hard at 6 unless yasuo has exhaust then the matchup in general is yasuo favored if the yasuos bring exhaust. Its not that unheard of for yasuo to beat riven although alois for sure got outplayed in lane

He played to the best of his abilities it just goes to show the mechanical difference of a top kr 1 trick vs a top eu 1 trick alois later on stream after this game said it was extremely embarrassing because pzzang took tp against him and when pzzang plays vs azhy ( rank 1 kr riven ) he only takes exhaust because he fears him more

pzzang is good but he is like every yasuo main to a certain extent just more consistent because yas is a champ full of holes and covering them isnt easy always relient on matchup knowledge and ivern covered him

You analyze like a bronze player. He is not like every yauo player. His ability to zone and trade are mechanically gifted. And Ivern was covering him as much as the enemy jg was covering riven. When you play against a good yasuo you will find he his holes aren't as many and the window to poke it are very small.

Anyone would look boosted if they're losing lane playing in challenger mmr. He did what he had to and eventually won the game. If he let his pride get the best of him and just built braindead damage, this whole game would've played differently

@@satorugojo4323 I personally think this region skill level difference is bs, I can get how Koreans would typically be better than anyone else, (gaming is Korea's culture) But if you are rank #1 on a champion you should know every in and out trading patterns. Just because this guy is Korean, does not make you better than someone from a different country, faker for example is from Korea, and caps is from EU, they are both insanely good mid laners. Just because one is Korean doesn't mean they are better than the other. I can get if this guy is nervous because he is someone he watched when he was younger (learned how to play yasuo etc..) But you don't lose you entire skill from playing for 10 years just because you are versing a #1 yasuo player.

In other words, Yasuo failed to convert his lead, despite having a pocket ivern. Isn't that just a skill issue? They didn't manage to kill Alois and didn't manage to convert the lead on yasuo AND a 6-0 ezreal into a win. That's honestly just a skill diff

Any normal top laner would have gone 0-8 with Ivern coming top that often. Honestly a miracle he didn't tilt that hard and only ended up dying once with talon in the 2v2
