the hero memory is now 4k+ FE, is there any alternative or would you even recommend to swap to cold with the current price of the hero memory?

Play lightning spirit and farm T7 blacksail with Rare - Blacksail Treasue trait card. It's the only way to obtain the memory without buying it.
