So...you skipped over everything she was already doing properly as a wife for him. She has no problem support and nurturing him. But your wife is not your mama. This is why therapy is key. She was single mother that already has 3 teens she was raising. She didn't come into the relationship broke and had a nice life when they met. Her point and the point he also acknowledged, was that She isn't looking for a 4th child in her spouse, he needed to show up more as her husband. As the head of their household. Being taken care of isn't just financial, it also feeling a sense of ease because you're not doing it alone.
