I understand Mazi’s perspective when he says “YOU gained more success and wanted to upgrade the bills” she knew then he wasn’t stable when she put that additional pressure on HERSELF upgrading their lifestyles knowing they were relying solely on her finances. She obviously hoped he would upgrade along the way but you NEVER and I mean NEVER count “potential”. You never count money you don’t yet have. Then I also understand her perspective with the fact that even though that may be true, SIR it’s been 6 years! If you still can’t go half after 6 yrs, you are not doing what you are supposed to. It seems like he tryna follow in her footsteps but one person’s journey is not another’s. Just because she did it this way doesn’t mean it will work for you. Plus they apparently made a lot of money together, so what is the issue here? They BOTH are wrong in this. Her paying all the bills should’ve been enough support for him to get on his feet. What more does he want? Too much obviously. You’re a man at the end of the day. Amy is delusional to take in a man you know is not stable and then expect him to do anything different than what he has already shown you. I’m sure at one point she made him feel comfortable at one point to lean on her financially while he figured things out and that’s where she went wrong, falling in love with potential. She shouldn’t have been with him until he was fully stable. If he loves you, he’ll come back for you once he’s able to be a provider. He wouldn’t have let all that pressure be on you no matter what you said and for 6 years at that. Ain’t no way. 😮‍💨

Honestly Mazi is making money he’s just not making the kind of money she wants him to make to support a lavish expensive lifestyle. All I hear from Amy is constantly nagging, downing him, making him feel less of a man and she keeps badgering an humiliating him publicly. Mazi had an apartment in Atlantic station and she moved in with him, he was able to take care of them and his kids. She wanted more. That’s why he said you moved us, she upgraded their bills and expect him to match it suddenly. I get she push him to succeed but it’s not like he been dependent on her.

This is definitely a black man problem where they want to be kept men but still want the respect of a breadwinner ... that said, if they moved to a townhouse then a condo because she was on the come up and needed to exude that, he shouldnt be forced to pay half for a place he wouldn't be living in because its out of his budget.
